Literary manuscripts are literary and artistic works published in newspaper supplements, including poetry, prose and novels.
The supplement first appeared in the "Xiyang Kao Monthly Tongji Zhuan" founded by foreign missionaries in Guangzhou in 1833. This was the first modern newspaper published in my country.
