Yan Shu
A new song and a glass of wine, the weather was old last year. When will the sunset come back?
There is nothing to do, flowers bloom and fall, and it seems familiar that Yan returns. Wandering alone in the small garden, fragrant path.
This is a well-known poem by Yan Shu. Literally, it is as clear as words, but people's understanding of its content has been very inconsistent. Some people say it is to express the sadness of fleeting time, while others say it is to express the feelings of old friends. I should say both.
The first sentence of a new word, a glass of wine describes the current environment: drinking and listening to songs. At first, the poet was full of relaxed and happy feelings and had a natural and unrestrained attitude. Only this sentence, it is difficult for readers to guess the poet's psychological activities. "The weather was old last year." The second sentence is still a description of the immediate environment, only shifting from personnel to solar terms and places. It is the people and things who drink and listen to songs, the same weather and pavilions that trigger the poet's recollection of the similar realm of "last year". The word "last year" connects two identical pictures of the past and the present: the same late spring weather, the same pavilions, the same singing wine-the author's eyes clearly show the moving singer, the temptation of the listener and the unspeakable emotional scene. There is no doubt that the scenery in this eye and the things in my heart safeguard the right person, although there is no word "person".
"When Will the Sunset Return" and "When Will the Sunset Return" are prospects, but they are also the reappearance of last year's events. Everything is the same as last year. The words "when will you come back" tell the difference between the past and the present, and tell the feelings that are hard to hide and suppress. The author's feeling of improvisation extends from the passage of years and related personnel changes to the whole life, which means "flowers are similar year after year, people are different year after year", lingering and low, and setbacks and hopes are intertwined.
"It has nothing to do with flowers, it seems to meet Yan." These two sentences skillfully use the scenery in front of us to focus on today's sadness. "Flowers Fall" regrets the disappearance of a better life; "Yan's Return" is a vague feeling of the past in my hometown. Beautiful and elegant, gradually drifting away, the deceased is like a husband; The ghosting, hazy as if, how affectionate the remains are. Although "falling flowers" and "returning to swallow" are also eye prospects, once they are associated with "helplessness" and "deja vu", their connotations become very extensive, with symbols of good things. In the interweaving of regret and comfort, there is a certain philosophy of life: all the beautiful things that are bound to disappear can't stop them from disappearing, but at the same time, there are still beautiful things reappearing, and life will not become nothingness because of disappearance, but this reappearance is not the same as the initial repetition of beautiful things, it is just' deja vu'. These two sentences are correct, which Yan Shu is proud of and praised by later generations.
"The small garden is fragrant and unique." In the colorful garden where she lost her life, on the path she swam hand in hand last year, the poet wandered alone, looking for traces of the old days, revisiting the old dreams, and deeply reflecting on what she saw, remembered and felt. The poet's image of "wandering alone" not only shows his deep affection for spring, but also brings readers into a vast imaginary world, which is "an infinite view beyond words". This implicit ending undoubtedly enriches the artistic capacity of the work.
