The Original Text and Appreciation of Yellow River Luoyin

Luo yin

Don't pour Ejiao in this direction, because it is difficult to understand God's will.

Out of the Kunlun Mountains, I realized that Han Yin should be curved.

Great-grandfather swears that clothes are small, and immortals are light.

Who knows that after three thousand years, why bother to report peace?

Luo Yin went to Beijing to take the exam and crossed the Yellow River many times. When he was in the imperial examination hall for many years and faced the turbulent current again, he couldn't help feeling something, so he wrote this poem about the Yellow River, exposing the darkness of the imperial examination hall and pinning his anger.

The first two sentences, that is, the Emotional Department, said that the turbidity of the Yellow River came from God's will, and even if the most Ejiao was poured, it could not be made clear (Shen Kuo's Meng Qian Bi Tan: Stir with turbid water, Ejiao will be clear), which means that the examination room is filthy as life and cannot be changed. Three or four sentences originated from the Yellow River in Kunlun Mountain, and are discussed with the legend that it is connected with the Milky Way. It is said that the Yellow River is turbid because the river leading to the Milky Way is too tortuous, so the water of the Yellow River is turbid as soon as it leaves Kunlun Mountain. For example, the imperial examination system was not clean at the beginning, because the supreme emperor (it is said that the top of Kunlun was occupied by the "great emperor") was not the pure motive for the country to select talents. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, is an example. When he saw that the new Jinshi had gone out, he claimed to be "a hero of the world in my trap". At the same time, because the Yellow River is famous for its twists and turns, it is said that it reaches the sky because of its "bend", suggesting that it is necessary to take crooked ways to get into the exam. Dignitaries do not choose talents on the basis of ability, but whether they can flatter themselves or even betray themselves to take refuge. Five or six sentences quoted two allusions about the Yellow River: "Great-grandfather swears to be small" means that Liu Bang, the great-grandfather of the Han Dynasty, made an oath when canonizing heroes: only when the water of the Yellow River became as narrow as a belt would he lose his title. The implication is that their position of power and privilege will exist forever. "Chuck" refers to Zhang Qian in the Han Dynasty who was ordered to explore the source, went upstream through the branch and reached the place where the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl were located. The so-called "immortals occupy the bucket" in the sentence means that immortals occupy the position of Beidou. This sentence is borrowed from Zhang Qian, who said that because the immortals occupied Jin Yao, Zhang Qian relied on the immortals to extradite him, so the guests could fly directly. It means that the position of the powerful people who decide the fate of scholars will never waver. Therefore, only the children who get their newspaper can easily be the first. In the last two sentences, it is said that the Yellow River has been clear for thousands of years (the poem says that "three thousand" is an imaginary number), expressing feelings: the river is difficult to clear, even if it can still be seen after three thousand years, I rarely have this blessing.

The Yellow River is magnificent and breathtaking, and has been praised by poets of all ages. Luo Yin's poems, however, made no mention of it, and portrayed its muddy and curved side incisively and vividly, which was related to his special experience and mood.

Poetry not only reveals the dirty state of the imperial examination hall at that time, but also touches the root of this state, reflecting the ideological height of this poem. This is a poem about things and things, with the Yellow River as the theme. All the contents are related to the Yellow River, but through the surface of the text, we can easily understand its meaning. Luo Yin treats both the exterior and the interior, which is neither superficial nor obscure, and can achieve good results.

Poetry shows the author's rich imagination, thousands of miles of thoughts and obsession with heaven and earth; It was also pursued hundreds of years ago and escaped after 3 thousand years, showing unusual characteristics in time and space span. In addition, the poet is good at cutting allusions and blending them into poetry, which has played a role in enriching poetry and increasing interest.
