The word "Xi" occupies an extremely important position in Qu Yuan's works and is widely used in Li Sao. The use of the word "Xi" in the last two sentences of odd sentences plays a great role in regulating the rhythm of poetry. "Xi" was originally an auxiliary word, and with the fixed rhyme of even sentences, the whole poem has been carried out in a cyclical melody, with a strong sense of rhythm.
2. Irregular sentence form
On the one hand, Li Sao adopts the form of folk songs, on the other hand, it draws lessons from the brushwork of prose, elongating the poem and forming a huge row, which is not only conducive to containing rich content, but also effectively expressing surging feelings. Li Sao is basically four sentences and one chapter, with few words and many even sentences, which forms the characteristics of patchwork, neatness and diversity.
