Once I saw Xianyang Tobacco, I was attracted by one of her paintings, called Spring on the Ridge. This painting is full of colors, magnificent, towering peaks, misty clouds, tall and straight Jinsong, showing a scene of neon smoke, which just shows the softness of Qinling Spring; Clear-cut, full of sense of space, showing an ethereal and lofty realm; See subtle in the extensive, rich in the simple, dripping ink and changeable colors complement each other, creating a hearty atmosphere and a bold art world of pen and ink. So I interviewed her with curiosity.
When I met Zhang Hongmei, I thought she was a simple and cultured person. After learning of my purpose, she talked about it in Kan Kan and told me in detail her experience in pursuing art.
Hard work will eventually bear fruit.
Zhang Hongmei was born in Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province from 65438 to 0959. Perhaps because the mountains and rivers in the old revolutionary base areas endowed her with artistic spirituality, Zhang Hongmei fell in love with painting at an early age. At that time, her family was very poor, and she couldn't afford to buy books about painting or even painting paper. Seeing the small illustrations in the textbook, she found some used exercise books and practiced drawing on the opposite side. In this way, she persisted until 1974 graduated from high school.
After graduating from high school, Zhang Hongmei came to the countryside to jump the queue. After the leader of the production team found her specialty, he gave her the blackboard newspaper of the production team. Zhang Hongmei was so happy for this "gift" that he stayed up all night excited that night. Since then, the blackboard newspaper of the production team has become a place for her to show her artistic talent. In this regard, the villagers all called her a "small painter in the mountain village."
From 65438 to 0987, Zhang Hongmei became a textile worker in Xianyang No.7 National Cotton Factory. At that time, women textile workers had high labor intensity, long working hours and heavy production tasks. However, even in such a working environment, Zhang Hongmei still has an undiminished enthusiasm for practicing painting. During working hours, she works hard. After work, she practices drawing hard on the small blackboard in the workshop. The sisters in the workshop all called her "the little painter in the workshop". From 65438 to 0988, Zhang Hongmei was transferred to the flue-cured tobacco redrying plant of Xianyang Tobacco Branch in Shaanxi Province to be responsible for the propaganda work of the plant. This provides her with a good opportunity to show her talents. The leader said happily, "We just lack talents like you here! You should give full play to your specialties and further improve your painting skills! " The leader's words made her more confident and gave her an idea: I have taught myself to draw for so long, why not find a teacher to guide me?
From 65438 to 0990, he began to learn from Han, a famous painter in Shaanxi. During studying Chinese painting with Han, she received formal basic training and learned the principles of painting and art.
Looking at Han Xiongwei's landscape paintings, her long-buried desire was ignited, and she decided to specialize in landscape paintings. But Han advised her, "You'd better learn flower-and-bird painting. Painting flowers and birds is nourishing and relaxing, which is more suitable for female painters. Painting landscapes is a "mountain-building movement". Being a landscape painter is equivalent to giving yourself to the landscape. This life is not up to you. "
However, Han's words did not make her flinch, but strengthened her confidence in learning landscape painting. She said: "Landscape painting is not a man's patent. Since I love landscape painting, I have to pay everything for it. "
In order to further improve his painting level, Zhang Hongmei came to Xi Academy of Fine Arts in 1994 alone. After many twists and turns, she found Professor Yang Jianxi, director of the Academic Affairs Office of the College, and expressed her idea of finding a teacher to learn landscape painting. Professor Yang Jianxi said that he has high requirements for students, and students must have a certain painting foundation.
After listening to Professor Yang Jianxi's introduction, Zhang Hongmei immediately took out his own works and asked him to have a look. After reading her works, Professor Yang Jianxi said, "The landscape paintings you painted are ok, but they are far from the highest level of painting. However, I came all the way to see you today, and I will accept you as a student! "
In the days when he studied under Professor Yang Jianxi, Zhang Hongmei went to work in the factory during the day, practiced painting at home at night, and went to xi Academy of Fine Arts to study at weekends. For his artistic dream, Zhang Hongmei paid a lot, but also got the due reward.
Zhang Hongmei's works have been selected for many times in provincial, municipal and national painting and calligraphy exhibitions. His works "Grazing on the Plateau" won the excellent prize of the 4th China Contemporary Landscape Painting Exhibition, "The New Appearance of Qinling Mountains" won the excellent prize of the 5th China Contemporary Landscape Painting Exhibition, "Spring of the Big River" and "Looking Back on the Yellow River" were selected as the works of contemporary world celebrities, "Listening to Springs" was selected as the world art works, and "Autumn on the Plateau" won the first prize of Shaanxi Tobacco System Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition.
While studying painting art assiduously, Zhang Hongmei realized that in order to make greater achievements in his work, he must further improve his cultural quality. 1996, 37-year-old Zhang Hongmei decided to take the adult college entrance examination.
With one share of stubbornness, Zhang Hongmei went ahead despite difficulties, picked up textbooks that had been put down for more than 20 years, and burned the midnight oil every night. I read book after book and took a lot of notes. ...
Where there is a will, there is a way. After studying hard, Zhang Hongmei successfully passed the adult college entrance examination and entered the gate of Shaanxi Institute of Labor and Transportation. In the next three years, Zhang Hongmei studied hard, successfully passed all the courses, and obtained the graduation certificate.
Carry forward Chinese painting and sow seeds.
In 2002, Zhang Hongmei reluctantly left the propaganda post of flue-cured tobacco redrying factory of Xianyang Tobacco Branch, Shaanxi Province, but she did not give up her artistic pursuit.
Zhang Hongmei is a famous local painter. Many parents came here to let their children learn Chinese painting from her, and she also came up with the idea of starting a Chinese painting art class. Later, she rented several rooms as classrooms and began to take art classes. Zhang Hongmei's wish is to let more children who love Chinese painting receive art education in time and make certain achievements in the art field in the future.
Zhang Hongmei has his own views on teaching. She believes that teachers should not only preach, teach and dispel doubts to students, but also stimulate students' creative thinking and open their aesthetic nature. At the same time, it is necessary to make new ideas and new images appear in art classes in the new era in time to improve students' artistic quality.
On the wall of the classroom, Zhang Hongmei is covered with students' paintings and works by Chinese and Western masters, which makes students feel that they are in the art palace from time to time, so that they can fully feel the charm of art, thus cultivating their interest in learning art and creating new works of art. In addition, she often takes students to art exhibitions to create learning opportunities for students.
In order to let students receive art education better, Zhang Hongmei constantly improves its teaching methods. During several years of teaching research, she carefully studied various teaching materials, extracted them three times, compiled nearly 20 teaching plans and wrote nearly 100 essays.
"Give the classroom back to the students, make the classroom full of vitality and make the classroom a paradise." Is the pursuit of Zhang Hongmei's classroom teaching.
In class, Zhang Hongmei gives students opportunities to give full play to their talents and encourages them to show different creative styles. When conceiving a painting, let them express their opinions and give full play to their imagination; In the evaluation of students' paintings, she abandoned the previous grading standard of "painting like it or not" and let students observe and discuss with each other instead, so as to find out the pros and cons of the works. ...
Under the careful guidance of Zhang Hongmei, many students have made impressive achievements in various painting competitions. Student Zhang Qi won the gold medal in the first small painter selection activity in Shaanxi Province; Wang Dongmei won the silver prize in the first small painter selection activity in Shaanxi Province; Michele Monique Reis won the second prize in the third Beijing 2008 National Youth Painting and Calligraphy Selection Campaign. ...
Looking at the students' grades, Zhang Hongmei proudly said, "These children are my pride! I want to teach them everything I have learned in my life and let them spread their wings and fly in the world of art! "
Plum blossom fragrance comes from bitter cold. Zhang Hongmei worked hard for art, and now he has finally achieved something. He is currently a member of China Artists Association, Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Exchange Association, Xianyang Painting and Calligraphy Institute and the Standing Committee of Western Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
Zhang Hongmei's love and persistent pursuit of art and his spirit of promoting art have won people's praise. Zhang Hongmei is very modest in the face of impressive achievements. She often said, "Art is endless. Landscape painting is profound, and I will redouble my efforts to gain something on the artistic road. At the same time, I have to educate my students and strive to be an excellent art teacher. "
