Is contemporary poetry really dead? Can love without poetry last forever?
I have loved poetry since primary school. I have read Xu Zhimo, Lin and their love. I have read Xi Murong, her calmness, Bing Xin and her kindness. Later, I tried to write my own poems for many years. It was just a love and a hobby. Every year, I buy excellent poems and songs from the past year. But in the end, it was found that fewer and fewer people had ideas. I found my favorite poem. Like Haizi, Gucheng and North Island, they all left us. They live in a different era from ours. This year, I bought an excellent anthology of last year's poems and songs, and I was disappointed. I can't read any understanding of the times, even a person who doesn't know poetry will find it unreasonable to learn. I'm not criticizing the editor of this book. I really think there are many people who write poems now, but fewer and fewer people really understand them. That's why there is such a scene. When you go to read the best-selling books in the book city, these categories are always the most prominent. 1 All kinds of novels, suspense, or youth literature; 2 biographies of famous people who caused the upsurge of Chinese studies by Yi Zhongtian Yu Dan and others; and columns of interviews with famous people with poems. Even in the book city, only half a small bookshelf is empty. Let's think it over. Why do some books sell well? You can easily find the suspense of 1 and be good at using people's curiosity. Youth literature is the best destination for all young people's rebellious thoughts and sadness. Most of Chinese studies are supported and understood by people in the world. Interview with celebrities because people have a lot of speculation and curiosity about celebrities' own world, but these books all have one thing in common. They are all about people's society or history, and they are all tenable. This is why I think poetry is untenable if it simply expresses feelings. It's late now, and out of love for poetry, I said so much. I hope it works for you. As for your second question. Don't know how to understand. If you are just talking about poetry and have no other reference, I don't think love needs any tools and reasons. The best thing about love is that we don't know whether it happened properly or between whom. This is its mystery. The most cruel thing is its mystery. No one knows when it will go and never come back. So I don't think it's necessary to ask others about love. Everyone's love history is different. You will know whether you really like it. A friend of mine once said that everyone is born with a love. It was not until that person met someone he cared about that he gave this love. There are many ways to express love, such as writing love letters, writing poems, professing directly and speaking shyly, but there is only one way to give love: sincerity. I hope you are happy.
