Li Shangyin's Translation of Jinse from the Perspective of Love & Friendship

I want to know why my Jinse has fifty strings, and each string has a youthful interval. Zhuangzi daydreaming, a saint, was bewitched by butterflies, and cuckoo crowed in the imperial spring. Mermaids shed pearl-like tears on the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathed their jade to the sun. A moment that should last forever has come and gone before I know it. The China New Year in this article will naturally remind people that this is a season of youth and fantasy. It is more colorful to use seasons to represent China's New Year than to use years. Seasons can represent a season, a season, or the youth season all the year round. The word nian is much more monotonous. Anyway, this couplet is easy to translate and there is not much ambiguity. The reason and the season rhyme seamlessly, and it is more luck. The last part is the tail couplet. "A moment that should last forever has come and gone before I know it." The author's regret is vividly on the paper. But what it feels like, but there is too much room for imagination. Just like English names such as this and it. What is this? What is this? What does it mean? Beginners are prone to make mistakes and get confused when translating. In my opinion, what the author said is not the plot described in the middle, but the love in the author's heart. The middle two couplets, forehead couplets and neck couplets, describe four different scenes and have related meanings. "Saint Zhuangzi daydreaming, bewitched by butterflies, crowed by the cuckoo of the emperor." Although there are allusions in it, I don't understand allusions. With common sense, I can also feel the persistence and tragic of butterflies flapping their wings and cuckoos weeping blood. When translating, we can't finish the story in just one or two lines, but we can present that artistic conception. In fact, here, apart from pedants, ordinary readers will not study why Wang Di Zhuang Sheng dreams of butterflies and cares about cuckoos. But they can feel that they must have some unfinished wishes and lifelong regrets, so they can only put them in their dreams or afterlife. Here, the author thinks of Zhuang Sheng's longing for the emperor, butterflies and cuckoos, and it must be out of his own remorse. What to confess can only be imagined by readers themselves. In my opinion, the author is regretting that he didn't carry out his love to the end. When I translated, I chose the word "Hui", not only to express Zhuang Sheng's hope that the imperial city is a figure of the past, but also to express a kind of virtuality and euphemism. As we express every day, they will do that. Me too. I think the author must have written these words figuratively. I'm afraid that after his own death, he will hold the cuckoo and cry like Wang Di. As can be seen from my reading, lovelorn is not a common pain! By the way, I have been thinking about how to translate the word "spring heart", but I can't find a suitable expression. Thinking of the emperor's longing for love may be that kind of grand ambition, although ambition is not paid. Of course, there is also the self-evident desire for love, so I chose to let go of my thoughts to express the word spring in the poem. Let's talk about what caused such regret and pain. The poet gave us a vague answer, that is, "Mermaids shed pearl-like tears in the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathed their jade to the sun." There are many beautiful and touching legends about Haizhu and Lantian jade. Knowing these legends is helpful to understand the artistic conception of poetry, but not knowing these legends can also feel the pain and beauty between the lines. The pearls of the sea are crystal clear, and they are more beautiful and charming in the moonlight. But seeing the tears on the beads, people may feel sorry for enjoying the beautiful scenery. Lantian jade is clear and beautiful, and touching the skin will give people a cool and delicate aesthetic feeling. When the hot sun (note that warm words in ancient Chinese are often pyrolyzed) makes beautiful jade smoke, people's usual cool and delicate beauty of jade is probably gone. In short, in my opinion, tears and smoke are the reasons why people turn a blind eye to Zhu Yumei. I dare not compliment some scholars on their understanding of this poem. Those people think that "Lantian breathes its own jade at the sun" is warm: in the warm sunshine, the beautiful jade in Lantian rises with an ethereal but very beautiful feeling. Bullshit! It's all nonsense from people who don't pretend to understand! The ancients were very strict, unlike today's uneducated people who only knew how to mislead others. Imagine, if that was a wonderful feeling, the poet wouldn't have felt this way at that time, leaving a famous sentence "and an instant that should last forever came and went unconsciously"? Unless you are a fool, anyone who sees that beautiful thing will hold on to it at that time. What the poet regrets is the regret caused by his retreat and blindness at that time. Dai Shulun's words: "The beauty of the poet, such as the warmth of Lantian and the smoke of good jade, cannot be placed before it is imminent. "You can also make a note. What Dai Shulun said is actually very intuitive. Beautiful things can't be placed in front of you. That's because it's hot! Just like a scene written by a poet, it can only be understood, but not expressed. Who dares to play with it? If the author borrows Dai Shulun (assuming it is), he should also borrow this artistic conception that can't be played. I think love is a bit confusing for the author. In short, it is by no means all beautiful, so there are similar regrets about missing the beauty. The translation of this sentence can show the metaphor of the original text without any treatment of tears. As for cigarettes, I did some translation. Based on the saying that flaws don't hide Yu, I prefer a translation closer to nature: no matter how warm the sun is, jade itself won't smoke, and the effect of smoking is because there are water drops or moisture on jade. The water droplets evaporated, leaving spots on the jade. That's a smear. Originally, all the flaws in jade itself should not cover up the beauty of jade, not to mention the spots attached to jade. Therefore, the blind ignorance of good jade is even more regrettable. At this point, the poet sighed a couplet and it came naturally. Li Shangyin used the scenery as a metaphor to express his feelings, and saw the true feelings dimly. He didn't mention a word of love from beginning to end, but I couldn't help reading the love in my heart. I think love may be due to misunderstanding, secularity, or other reasons. The poet didn't stick it out, but regretted it. So my translation is more full of my understanding. I believe in my own understanding.
