Composition teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, and it is an important scale and comprehensive performance that reflects students' Chinese level and quality. However, composition teaching has always been the bottleneck of rural Chinese teaching, and many teachers are confused about it. They think that rural students have narrow vision, less knowledge and information than urban students, and their articles are single in subject matter and poor in language. In fact, the countryside has a strong local flavor, beautiful natural scenery, simple local customs and rich cultural heritage, which are incomparable to the city. These rich local resources provide inexhaustible composition materials for junior high school students in rural schools. How to make full use of local resources, help students find the source of living water for their composition, and let the flowers of exercises bloom in the fields of rural hope? According to the actual life of rural junior high school students and the characteristics of the new curriculum, the author believes that this will be a "timely rain" for the current composition teaching in rural junior high schools.

First, be close to natural activities and be active in thinking in the fragrance of soil and grass.

Native rural areas, picturesque nature is the cradle of rural children: ridges, vegetable fields, wild flowers, weeds, rice fields, cooking smoke, bamboo forests, orchards, fences, slate roads, streams, slab bridges, ponds, reservoirs, frogs, dogs barking, birds singing, insects singing and so on. Can be written poetically and read happily. Nowadays there are fewer and fewer extracurricular activities for rural students. Because of safety problems, they dare not or refuse to carry out more extracurricular activities, "don't swim because of drowning, but give up eating because of suffocation". However, under the premise of doing a good job in safety, we should dare to let go of our hands and feet, carry out more extracurricular activities, and organize students to get close to and feel nature. In this way, students can enjoy the activities and learn to write, which will benefit a lot.

Second, take part in colorful farm work and experience the ups and downs in labor practice.

"Farm work" is a unique educational resource in our rural schools, and rural students have a unique position in their hometown. At ordinary times, students can be guided to observe the unique things full of earthy flavor in rural areas with inquiry and curiosity, collect writing materials, and guide students to choose what they are most interested in. For example, when spring blossoms, let students follow their parents to weed the fields; Organize students to pick wheat ears in the field during the wheat harvest season; In the autumn season, pick cotton, shave flowers and collect sunflowers; On weekends, feed animals, raise poultry, grow vegetables ... strike while the iron is hot afterwards, and guide students to write short narratives and vivid articles. Because writing materials are closely related to students, students have something to say, something to write, something to send, and something to feel. They not only learned agricultural technology knowledge, cultivated labor enthusiasm, but also expanded the scope of writing.

Third, experience pure homesickness and learn about folk customs in social activities.

Rural areas have a long history of local culture, established customs and lifestyles. For example, fireworks will be set off on New Year's Eve, relatives will be visited during the Spring Festival, graves will be visited in Tomb-Sweeping Day, fragrant zongzi will be eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival, family reunions will be held during the Mid-Autumn Festival, ancestors will be sacrificed, men and women will get married, and customs will be changed. It brings a lot of happiness to students. The feeling that "a distant relative is not as good as a close neighbor", the wind of thrift and the virtue of hard work have a profound influence on students. These vivid examples emerge one after another and happen vividly around the students. For example, Yangxian County in Hanzhong, the annual Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival where thousands of families get together, the simple and heavy Cai Lun Cultural Festival, and the pear blossom festival with a fragrance of 10,000 mu have all brought a lot of joy to the students. These are all things that students like to see and hear, which provide students with rich writing themes. Teachers should be good at seizing the opportunity, let students feel homesickness, affection and teacher-student relationship with vivid situations, inherit virtues and accumulate a lot of writing materials. Let the students experience the deep homesickness and the simple feelings of the working people in the activities, and the exercise guidance will be solved. Isn't this an innovation in exercise teaching?

Fourth, feel the spirit of our ancestors and learn fine traditions through participation.

Huayang Town, Yangxian County is an old revolutionary base area, where many stories of revolutionary ancestors are circulated. They used their lives and blood to show a picture of high spirits, perseverance and indomitable spirit. These are not only good materials for composition, but also good teaching materials for moral education. Let students interview the local old people, learn about the heroic deeds of martyrs, visit and witness the revolutionary predecessors, visit the martyrs cemetery, consult materials, listen to the old Red Army telling the past, etc., so that students can truly feel all kinds of touching spirits, and reverence arises spontaneously, thus generating a strong desire for work. At this time, the students' language is impassioned and their lines are full of emotion. The process of doing homework once again sublimated the feelings of the students and purified their hearts.

5. Witness the development and changes of hometown and express your excitement with personal experience.

Since the reform and opening up, the economic development in my hometown has changed with each passing day. Various industries in rural areas are booming, and the construction of new countryside has created the most beautiful towns, well-off villages, industrial areas, ecological villages and tourist spots for us, and it is also an excellent material for comprehensive writing practice. Let the students visit breeding, planting and community construction, learn about the past of their hometown, witness the present of their hometown and feel the rapid development of today in the huge gap between the past and the present. Then, hold a seminar to let the students talk about the changes in their hometown: some talk about the changes in their home life, some talk about the renewal of this "road" in front of the door … "I write my mouth by hand". Students can't help spreading the wings of imagination and flying to the future with their dreams. At this time, the requirement of writing will prompt students to put this exciting feeling into their pens, and at the same time stimulate their love for their hometown and be influenced by emotion and morality.

Ye Shengtao said: "Writing is inseparable from life. To what extent can life be enriched, what articles will be made. " The countryside is a big world. The world here is simple, but it is also rich and has inexhaustible writing materials. In teaching, as long as students are guided to be good at discovering, experiencing and feeling, accumulating and extending their tentacles, the composition of rural students can also be rich and colorful. A trickle, as long as the teacher gently pushes it, will arouse the waves of literary thoughts. As long as the bud is moistened by the spring of life, it will definitely make the exercises in rural junior high schools fragrant and flowery.
