Source: Wang Guozhen's poem "As long as tomorrow is still there"
Original poem:
As long as spring is still there.
I won't be sad.
Even if the night devours everything
The sun will come back.
As long as life is still there
I won't be sad.
Even if I'm stuck in the desert
There is still an oasis of hope.
As long as it is here tomorrow.
I won't be sad.
The snow in winter will eventually melt slowly.
Spring thunder will surely roll in.

Poetry appreciation
Section 1: In this section, spring is a symbol of all the good things in life and a symbol of hope. Inspired by hope, the lyric hero "I" bravely walked out of the "night" and the "sun" at dawn was just around the corner.
Section 2: In this section, life becomes the carrier of hope. I don't care about the sadness in my life and bravely challenge my own destiny. Although I am trapped in the vast desert, the hope of the oasis enriches my mind, thus cherishing my life more. With life, I have hope and the courage and determination to overcome difficulties.
Section 3: In this section, "I" believe that tomorrow will be better, so I won't be "sad" because winter comes, can spring be far behind? Winter snow melts and spring thunder rolls. This poetic image is rich, and "spring", "sun", "oasis" and "tomorrow" are symbols of hope; "Night", "desert" and "winter snow" are symbols of difficulties.
The whole poem expresses the positive, detached and open-minded attitude and pursuit of the lyric hero. Repetitive rhymes make poetry catchy to read. Metaphor has been used many times to express that good things are the hope and tomorrow we long for, and bad today will always be broken.
