How is the development of modern Egyptian poetry?
/kloc-In the first half of the 0/9th century, due to the limitations of traditional Arabic poetry in subject matter, form, meter and rhyme, Egyptian poetry was in a state of stagnation. It was not until the second half of19th century that Mahmoud Sami Baroody (1838- 1904) broke the unification of traditional metrical poems, opened up a new path for Egyptian poetry creation and promoted the development of poetry. Later, Ahmed Ji Shao, known as the "King of Poetry", and hafiz ibrahim (187 1- 1932), known as the "Nile Poet", further developed and innovated their poetry creation, forming a new kind of metrical poetry. They not only inherited the excellent tradition of classical poetry, but also endowed poetry with new content and spirit of the times. In addition to describing their own experiences, they also care about things around them and state affairs.
