Yue Fei's "Man Jiang Hong" was removed from the textbook, but an unknown work of the same name was selected. Is it reasonable?

Speaking of my country's ancient poetry, it can be regarded as one of the treasures of traditional culture and art. For thousands of years, countless literati have written countless works. Even in modern times, Still loved by everyone. Because even if time passes, we can still get strength from those short lines of text and feel the roar of emotion in the dead of night. Because the beauty of poetry lies in its exquisite writing art, and what is even more wonderful is that it has a soul and can give us spiritual comfort.

There are many types of poetry, such as pastoral poetry, farewell poetry, and lyric poetry, but there is another category that must not be ignored, and that is patriotic poetry. Whenever we read those impassioned sentences, it seems that we are also immersed in the scene, fighting with the heroes and spilling blood on the battlefield. For example, the poem "All the Rivers Are Red" by the patriotic poet Yue Fei of the Southern Song Dynasty made many passionate men shed tears. This poem describes the poet's grief and indignation after the Central Plains was occupied by the Jin people. He also felt sorry for the unfavorable situation at that time, and expressed his inevitable The determination to fight the enemy to the end and the desire to serve the country.

The most famous line of this poem is "Don't wait for idleness, the young man's head will turn gray, and there will be no sorrow." This short sentence has accompanied many people through the trough of life. Every time I hear this text, my heart may be shocked. It has been more than 800 years since Yue Fei wrote this poem. During these 800 years, this poem has been sought after by countless literati, and some even regard it as a life creed to inspire themselves to move forward. Therefore, it was well deserved to be selected into the textbook and became the object of study for students.

However, I don’t know when this poem disappeared from the textbook. In fact, it is very common for famous poems to be removed from textbooks, because there are too many excellent articles, and timely replacement is beneficial to everyone. Have a deeper understanding of classic works. And with the development of the times, some ideas are no longer suitable for current teaching. However, "River is Red" is a patriotic poem that is full of strong patriotism and is very capable of mobilizing young people's patriotic emotions. Why was it deleted? What's even more puzzling is that it was replaced by another less famous song "Man Jiang Hong". What's going on?

In fact, there has been a lot of controversy about "Man Jiang Hong" since ancient times, because Yue Fei was persecuted by Qin Hui at that time, and most of his manuscripts were destroyed. Why is only "Man Jiang Hong" preserved? Therefore, many people believe that this poem was not written by Yue Fei, but was probably written by Yu Qian, a minister of the Ming Dynasty. This poem has the same meaning as Yu Qian's "Ode of Lime".

When Yue Fei's "Man Jiang Hong" was removed from the textbook, another song "Man Jiang Hong" followed. This was a female version of "Man Jiang Hong". Naturally, it was not as famous as Yue Fei's. But why can it replace Yue Fei? "Man Jiang Hong·Living in Beijing" is a poem written by Qiu Jin in 1903, shortly after the Eight-Power Allied Forces invaded China. Qiu Jin witnessed the incompetence and corruption of the Qing government, so she devoted herself to the revolution regardless of her husband's objections. Save the country.

Women have always been a disadvantaged group in history. However, who says that women are inferior to men? In ancient times, Hua Mulan joined the army for her father, Mu Guiying took command, and in modern times, there is also the "Jianhu Heroine" Qiu Jin. As a modern heroine, Qiu Jin is equally worthy of praise for her resolute devotion to the revolution, and her actions of "women should not be inferior to men." It is not unreasonable for her works to be included in textbooks.
