The first couplet is the first couplet in rhyme. The metrical poem consists of eight lines, each full stop is a sentence, the first two sentences are the first couplet, the third and fourth sentences are the parallel couplet, the fifth and sixth sentences are the neck couplet, and the last two sentences are the tail couplet. Among them, parallel couplets and neck couplets require that they must be seated accordingly. In terms of the number of clauses, there are eight rhythmic poems. The neck couplet and parallel couplet of orthographic poetry must be opposed. Both metrical poems and quatrains require even tone, and metrical poems with more than eight sentences are called rhythm.
2. Couplets
Parallel prose is the second couplet of regular poetry, that is, three or four sentences, which generally requires antithesis.
3. Neck joint
Necklace, Chinese characters and pinyin are jǐng lián, which refers to the third weight of metrical poems.
"these words ... now the night has become an ocean of the sun, and the old year has melted in the clear spring. This is the necklace in "A Shelter under the Mountain of Beibao" by the poet Wang Wan in the Tang Dynasty. Parallel prose and neck couplets are antithetical sentences.
4. Tail connection
Tail couplet, pinyin wěi lián, refers to the fourth part (seven or eight sentences) of a metrical poem, which is named because there is no antithesis at the end of a poem.
