The official anthem of the 4th Winter Olympics is A Date with Ice and Snow. The song was composed by the composer Wulan Toga. It took seven or eight months, including three changes of song title and several revisions of the draft before it was finally finalized. The original song was titled "Glorious Dream", but later it was changed to "We Are Coming" and finally changed to "A Date of Ice and Snow" based on the initiative of the lyricist Na Shun. The 14th National Winter Games was hosted by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and consisted of 7 major events, 15 sub-events, and 109 minor events.
Features of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony
Chinese rules have begun to be implemented. There is an important change in the entrance ceremony of the athletes in this opening ceremony, that is, the order of entry has been changed from the past English alphabetical order to the order of Chinese character strokes. There are only two exceptions. One is the first entry of Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. First, the host country, China, entered the stage last. This is a landmark event, indicating that the era of China's participation in formulating international standards has arrived, and regulating world behavior according to Chinese standards begins here. Second, China’s epidemic prevention measures have been implemented.
