Covered with layers of Shan Ye.
It seems that everything has turned white.
Into a silvery white world.
White is also a beautiful color.
It buried dead branches and leaves in winter.
When the spring sun rises in the sky
A vibrant season is coming.
It's not just the bright spring.
And the surging hope in my heart
Hope is another bright beginning.
Let tomorrow's day be more brilliant.
Time seems to go round and round.
Every year is a new day.
[explanation]
This poem adopts the structure of English sonnets 4, 4, 4 and 2, but the first three or four lines all rhyme with AA X A, which is commonly used in Chinese poetry. The author further developed this rhyme form, namely AABA, BBCB, CCDC and DD. This is the exploration made by the poet in the process of transplanting sonnets.
Sonnets written in this rhyming form are really closer to the habit of appreciating China's poems. It is worthy of comparative study.
