Daming Pagoda is located in the east of Yangdemen, the south gate of the inner city in central Liaoning. People used to call it Daming Pagoda, because Beijing in the middle of Liaozhong continued to the Ming Dynasty, leaving only the Tower. The tower is 80.22 meters high, second only to Chongwen Pagoda in Jingyang, Shaanxi and Liaodi Tower in Dingxian, Hebei. It is the third tallest tower in China, and its volume is the first in China. The tower is magnificent and towering into the sky. On a sunny day, you can see it with the naked eye hundreds of miles away. The poem written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty describing this tower is "I have seen it from a distance", but it is "not easy to get close to" on closer inspection, and the viewers are all amazed at the vastness of the project, the spectacular modeling and the exquisite carving, which are awe-inspiring.
