The coolie, 1975 graduated from high school and jumped the queue in the countryside, then entered the state-owned enterprise. In 2004, he began to publish poems. He is a contracted writer of Beijing Shenzhou Yahai Culture and Art Institute, a member of Sichuan Writers Association, a member of China Popular Literature Society and a member of China Poetry Society. His works are found in Star Poetry Magazine, Poetry Tide Poetry Magazine, Yangtze Poetry Magazine, Poetry Monthly, Poetry Country, China Poetry Country, China Poet Newspaper, China Writers Network and other domestic newspapers and periodicals. Zhang Yi's pen name "Coolie" has won many prizes in the National Poetry Competition, and some of his works have been published by Sichuan Publishing House, Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House, Sichuan Digital Publishing Media Group, Popular Literature and Art Publishing House, Guangming Daily Publishing House and China Drama Publishing House. His works were included in China on 20 10 and Selected Poems on 20 13, and he was invited by the Chinese Poetry Society to participate in China's poetry journey. He is the author of a collection of poems, Illiterate Women, published by Ningxia People's Publishing House, and The Wind Blows Here, published by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House.
