What aspects should be paid attention to in the teaching of ancient poetry?

The teaching of ancient poetry should focus on these two aspects:

First, teach students to distinguish what poetry is: ancient poetry, especially modern poetry, is very particular about the requirements of rhyme, meter, antithesis, flatness and adhesion. If you don't write four sentences or twenty-eight words casually, it is seven verses, and eight sentences or fifty-six words are seven verses. We all have this experience. After graduating from high school, we have learned countless ancient poems, but we can't tell whether 28 words are poems, whether they belong to modern poetry or ancient style, and treat all those that don't rhyme at all as poems. This is a failure of ancient poetry education.

Second, teach students to write simple but qualified poems, even if they are written in Xinhua rhyme (the rhyme of Mandarin). We can start with five-character quatrains, five laws and arrangement laws. As long as the students understand the step relationship of flat and flat lines, the relative relationship between sentences and the bonding relationship between the two couplets, they can easily read and write poems, and then become familiar with the reading of ancient Chinese characters, which is equivalent to mastering the writing and reading ability of ancient Chinese characters at the same time. Only in this way can a large number of real poets be cultivated, and it is also an educator's responsible attitude towards China, a wonderful flower in traditional culture.
