Malanhua is a fairy tale film produced by Shanghai Haiyan Film Studio in 196. It was directed by Pan Wenzhan and Meng Yuan and starred by Wang Bei, An Gu Lju and Dong Ming. It was released in Chinese mainland in February 1961.
Based on the children's drama of the same name, this film tells the story of a fairy Malang and a hardworking and kind Xiaolan who form a good relationship with Malanhua and defeat the old cat who covets Malanhua with the help of small animals and uncle Shu.
