Who is the craziest builder in the history of China? Wudang Mountain is him.

"Taihe is like the city, and jade is like Qin Afang. Nanyan is magnificent and purple, and Ganquan is 90% poor. " This is the visual impact of Wudang Mountain Palace landscape, a completed palace in the clouds. The completion of this grand project is attributed to the Ming Dynasty emperor Judy.

Cheng Zu believed in Taoism in Ming Dynasty.

The worship of Taoism in the Ming Dynasty began in the Ming Dynasty and reached its peak during Jiajing and Wanli years. Ming Taizu Judy not only sent people to visit Zhang Sanfeng Avenue many times, but also wrote to express her wish: "I have long admired the true fairy, and I am eager to learn from my family." Although I am "average in talent, I will never forget seeing his sincerity at night."

Ming Chengzu Judy

Later, Zhang Sanfeng wrote a short message to Judy and a poem, and the prescriptions for it were "screen desire to worship morality" and "sincerity without desire" (the heart should be clean and the desire should be less), so that the people would be rich and virtuous; People live a long life, and as a master, they live a long life, which implies the meaning of monasticism.

In addition, Ming Chengzu built a temple in Beijing, a jade emperor hall in the Forbidden City for himself and the people in the palace to worship, and also overhauled the temple of Wudang Mountain where Zhenwu Emperor ascended to heaven, in order to "repay the kindness" and express his sincerity to the Tao and "pray for all things in the world".

According to the records of Taihe Mountain, the meaning of "Wudang" comes from "it must be true martial arts", which means that Wudang is a sacred place where China Taoism worships "Tian Xuan Zhenwu Emperor" (also known as Zhenwu Emperor).

Wudang Mountain Palace Group

Guan Gong began to work and became an ancestor, caring about everything.

In order to create an ideal palace view, Judy appointed Kuai Xiang, the most famous engineering designer at that time and the designer of the Forbidden City in Beijing, to take charge of the planning, and sent many important officials of the imperial court to survey the topography of Wudang Mountain and measure the site selection. Ten years of Yongle (14 12), with Judy's strong determination to promote Taoist beliefs, at the same time, preparations were made for the Forbidden City in Beijing and the palace project in Wudang Mountain started.

Out of respect for the gods, Judy ordered that a tree and a leaf of Wudang Mountain should not be requisitioned. All building materials were transferred from Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Shaanxi. The project took 12 years and recruited more than 300,000 men, which mainly reflected the "solemn, majestic, mysterious and magical" atmosphere.

During the period of 12, Judy issued more than 60 imperial edicts, from dispatching manpower to approving design drawings and disposing of building surplus materials.

Judy repeatedly warned us to obey nature and not to make any changes to mountains, which reflected the Taoist thought of "advocating nature".

Create a fairyland on earth

Wudang Mountain Palace Group is a space for simulating real people to practice martial arts and cultivate immortals, with a total length of 65,438+020 Li from Gujunzhou to Tianzhu Peak at the top of Wudang Mountain. It is divided into three parts, namely, 60 Li from Zhou Jun to Xuanyuemen is "human", 40 Li from Xuanyuemen to Nanyan is "fairy mountain", and 20 Li from Nanyan to Tianzhu Peak is "heaven". Formed a triple realm of man, fairy mountain and heaven.

Wudang Mountain Xuan Yue Gate

From the foot of the mountain to the Golden Hall of Tianzhu Peak, a 70-kilometer-long "Shinto" is paved with monochromatic bluestone. There are huge buildings along the Shinto, such as Eight Palaces, Two Views, Thirty-six Luan Hall, Seventy-two Rock Temple, Thirty-nine Bridges and Twelve Pavilions. Every temple, such as Yuxu Palace, Zixiao Palace, Yuzhen Palace and Taihe Palace, is built on the top of the mountain. Pay great attention to the harmony with the environment in orientation, spacing, volume and color, so that it can be integrated with the surrounding trees, stones and streams and reflect each other, forming a fairyland on earth with "five miles, one temple and ten miles of palaces, blue walls and tiles, and exquisitely carved".

Among them, Yu Xuyan is the place where Zhenwu Emperor practiced and ascended to heaven, where Zhenwu's statue, his left and right attendants and 500 spiritual officials are enshrined.

Wudang Mountain Zixiao Palace

Regarding the origin of Zixiao Palace, Legend of Zhenwu recorded a legend: When the immortal Ziyuanjun crossed Zhenwu to practice in Wudang Mountain, he told him to "gather its peaks and fly to the top of Zixiao Palace", so the main palace of Wudang Mountain was named Zixiao Palace. "Purple sky" refers to the sky full of fairy gas.

After the completion of Taoist buildings in Wudang Mountain, the wall on Tianzhu Peak is more spectacular than the Forbidden City in Tiangong, and the Nanyan Palace and Zixiao Palace are also beautiful. Jade Palace is like the reappearance of Epang Palace, which is amazing. And every page has a saying. For example, if the entrance of Xuanyue Gate is called "fairy mountain", Fang Yue has a saying that "fate is left to God". From emphasizing the concept of truth, Taiziyan to soaring rock, it also contains the meaning that true martial arts can achieve the purpose of soaring, and see the big from the small.

In addition, Emperor Cheng Zu of the Ming Dynasty ordered the statue of Zhang Sanfeng to be placed in Yuzhen Palace on the mountain for people to worship. However, the Yu Zhen Palace built by Emperor Yongle is very similar to the existing front and back halls of the Forbidden City in Beijing, and their architectural decoration styles are also similar.

The magnificent golden palace

The most famous Golden Hall in the Hall of Supreme Harmony is a bronze building, which stands on Tianzhu Peak, so it is called Jinding, which is very spectacular. The Forbidden City built around it (meaning the same as the Forbidden City in Beijing) effectively resisted the cold wind around it, making Tianzhu Peak tree-lined and full of vitality. At the same time, the tall and straight stone city effectively sets off the sacred cofferdam of the "Kingdom of Heaven" and makes Jin Dian more magnificent visually.

The statue of Zhenwu in Taihe Palace in Wudang Mountain, with long hair and down-to-earth, sits safely in the imperial chair.

Wudang Mountain Taihe Palace

Historically, the Golden Temple was composed of more than 3,000 components, not only 20 tons of refined copper and 300 kilograms of gold, but also the whole Golden Temple was a good conductor. It is said that even if there is lightning and thunder, the fireball just rolls around the Golden Hall, but the Golden Hall is unscathed, which is really a wonder.

The statue of Zhenwu in Jinding Hall is full of hair. Surrounded by the guards around the Kim couple, they sat safely in the royal chair. It is as big and amiable as a real person. "Harmony between Heaven and Man" is the most perfect combination here.

Ming Chengzu said his name.

The main building of Wudang Mountain large palace is mainly glazed tile roof, and the rest buildings are made of cloth tiles. There are two kinds of glazed tile roofs: green tile roofs and green tile roofs with yellow edges, but there is no yellow glazed tile roof. For example, the Zixiao Palace is a blue tile, the main hall is a blue tile with yellow edges, and the Dragon and Tiger Hall and the main hall are both blue tiles.

Wudang mountain Taoist temple

After the completion of Wudang Mountain Palace Group, Ming Chengzu named it "Taihe Taiyue Mountain" and set up an official seal to guard it. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it was expanded to achieve the artistic conception of "Fairy Mountain and Qiongge". Wudang Mountain was above the Five Mountains for some time.

Today, outside the Liangyi Hall of Nanyan Palace in Wudang Mountain, there is a poem written by Lv Dongbin praising Wudang Mountain, which is called "Taihe Mountain". The poem says:

At the beginning of chaos, there was this stone, towering above Taihe.

Facing Dafeng and facing away from Ganquan Water Bay.

Stone wisps become flying phoenix, and niches are like snails.

Lingyuan xianjian is surrounded on three sides, and Cooper is surrounded on all sides.

The raindrops and pearls knock on the stone crib, and the wind blows Yu Di Songmen.

The cock crows at dawn in the east, and the crane returns to Moon Bay at night.

Taniguchi fairy birds often call words, and the beasts on the top of the mountain are allowed to climb.

Naturally, the sun and the moon are idle.

This is where Gao Zhen became a monk, so he left a trail in the world.

How many immortal couples did the ancients repay for their love of famous mountains?

Liangyi Hall of Nanyan Palace in Wuyishan

After the ancestors of the Ming Dynasty, all the emperors worshipped the real Wu Shen of Wudang Mountain. Whenever they ascended the throne, they would send their ministers to Wudang Mountain to offer sacrifices. In major ceremonies, Da Yue, like the Five Mountains, pays more attention to the great Yue Zhen Wu Shen.

In the thirty-first year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1552), Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty rebuilt the Wudang Mountain Temple and built a large stone archway on the mountain northeast of the earthquake palace, which was named "Xuanyue Mountain". Therefore, Wudang Mountain was honored as "Taihe Mountain in Xuan Yue" by the court, and its name and status were significantly higher than those of the Five Mountains, making it "the first famous mountain in the world". The status of Wudang Mountain was not weakened until the Qing Dynasty.

The Yuzhen Palace in Wudang Mountain was built by Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty for Zhang Sanfeng, and the main hall was burned down in June 5438 +2003 10. The picture shows the original appearance of Yu Zhengong.

It is a good sign to build Wudang Mountain.

It is also worth mentioning that several strange things happened during the construction of Wudang Mountain.

One is the tenth year of Yongle. When Judy sent officials to lead craftsmen to Wudang Mountain, she made a special imperial edict, that is, "Yellow List", which was to write the emperor's words on a big wall with gold powder. At that time, there were often some clouds hanging around the yellow list, so it was called "glory of the yellow list" and was regarded as a good omen.

One is the eleventh year of Yongle, when plum trees in Wulong Palace in Wudang Mountain blossomed and bore fruit, with lush foliage and numerous fruits. This thing is called "Langmei Chengrui". Langmeiguo is a unique plant in Wudang Mountain. In appearance, it looks a bit like apricot, smaller than apricot and the size of kumquat.

It is said that when the prince of Jingle Kingdom was practicing in Wudang Mountain, he took a plum branch and put it on a tree, saying that if I succeed in becoming a monk, this plum branch will blossom and bear fruit, and it will bear a plum tree. Therefore, this is also a good sign that Li Zishu is alive. It is said that Cheng Zu of the Ming Dynasty was very happy and gave each civil and military official two plums.

Another is that from May to August in the 11th year of Yongle, five-color round lights appeared many times in Jinding, Zixiao, Nanyan and Wulong Palace in Wudang Mountain. Some people also saw the mysterious god in the round light, with flags and swords on both sides. Finally, someone painted it as "The Round Light Map of Wudang Mountain" and dedicated it to the court. This circular light map is still preserved in the Baiyun Temple Museum in Beijing. The above auspicious signs add mystery to the Yungong Temple in Wudang Mountain.
