Poetry or prose praising the Great Wall

Xiongguan Fu-Author: Jun Qing Oh, what a mighty Xiongguan! -Shanhaiguan, known as "the first pass in the world"! Speaking of Shanhaiguan, I heard this clanking name a long time ago. I remember my childhood. From one of my four grandfathers, I heard the name of Shanhaiguan and also carved the shadow of this magnificent pass. My fourth master is a Kanto guest. When he was only a teenager, like many farmers in my hometown who were forced by poverty and had no way out, he went to Kanto to make a living alone, carrying a dog skin on his shoulder as luggage. When he returned to his hometown, he was over seventy years old. Just like when he left his hometown decades ago, he was still alone and empty-handed. The only property he brought back was his tragic past and all kinds of stories and experiences of wandering in a foreign land. Among them, there is Shanhaiguan. I still clearly remember that in winter, father and son sat under the roots of haystacks and bathed in the warm sun on March 9. He told me some legends and stories about Shanhaiguan. The majestic tower, the dangerous situation, the tragic history, the humiliating history, the snowstorm in the traffic jam, the sadness of going through the customs ... The sentimental heart has also crossed the sad scene when closing the door for those pedestrians who have left their hometown and moved far away from their hometown, and shed sad tears. It has also been unhappy for Meng Jiangnv's loyalty and misfortune. But more is moved and encouraged by the majestic momentum of Xiongguan and the heroic history of resisting foreign aggression and defending the territory. Childish hearts often sprout solemn and impassioned feelings. I also had some childhood dreams: In my dreams, I used to fly over the mountains stretching across Wan Li in my military uniform, or stand high above the majestic city gate with Jin Ge in my hand. ..... Ah, the dream is absurd, but the heart that admires Xiongguan and loves the country is sincere and deep. Unfortunately, I have never been to Xiongguan, which is close to Beijing. What it left me is still the vague shadow left by my fourth grandfather when I was a child. There are opportunities: once, in the spring of 1956, I traveled to eastern Europe and took an international train across the northeast and Siberian wasteland. After the train left Beijing, I heard about some cities that I would pass along the way from the train announcer's broadcast, and Shanhaiguan was one of them. I was very excited at that time. I am eager to see Shanhaiguan as soon as possible after the train passed Qinhuangdao. When the train approached Shanhaiguan station, I found that the station and the railway line were still far away from Shanhaiguan. I leaned out of the window and looked hard to the north, thinking that I could see the shadow of Xiongguan in the distance. It's a pity, however, because it's already dusk, and the boundless twilight covers the earth. Even if I stare big eyes and try to look around, I can't see Shanhaiguan. I can only vaguely see a faint shadow like smoke, which blends with the smoke rising in the field, like the scenery in the misty rain in March. I looked back disappointedly, and what was left on my mind screen was still the vague shadow I got from my fourth grandfather when I was a child. Now, I finally saw this long-awaited grand pass with my own eyes. Ah! What a powerful pass! Really live up to its reputation:-the world's first level! The magnificent momentum and the dangerous terrain are unparalleled in the fortresses I have ever seen. Let's talk about the watchtower first: it is so majestic, so strong and tall, standing between the blue sky and white clouds. The huge plaque of "the first pass in the world" hangs above the watchtower, which is particularly eye-catching and can be seen clearly from a distance. These five Chinese characters are vigorous and magnificent, and combined with the majestic customs of the towering sky, they are magnificent and spectacular. However, the most spectacular thing is the danger it is in. If you don't believe me, you can go to the terrace on the left side of the city gate. You can't help but exclaim, "Wow, what a spectacular traffic jam! What a dangerous place! " "Look north. There are overlapping Yanshan Mountains and the Great Wall of Wan Li in the north. Like a long, lively dragon, it winds from the northwest to the south and extends to the south. To the south is the endless Bohai Sea. The Great Wall of Wan Li rushed down from the corner mountain of the branch of Yanshan Mountain and went straight to the coast of Bohai Sea. This is the famous old faucet, the tip of the Great Wall in Wan Li. This Shanhaiguan stands just above the neck of the Great Wall in Wan Li, between the mountains and rivers in the peak sea and at the throat of the Shanxi-West Corridor. The danger of this situation, as the ancients said, the locks and keys between the two capitals are unparalleled. See /f for the full text of the first pass of Wan Li Great Wall? kz= 1320940 19
