Appreciation of Zhai Zhongzuo

In the original text:

Riding west, almost to the horizon, I have seen two full moons since I left home. I don't know where to stay tonight, and Pingsha is deserted.

Introduction to Cen Can:

Appreciation of the works of moraine;

This poem was written in the eighth year of Tianbao (749), when Cen Can joined the army for the first time. Judging from the poem "When I leave home, I will see the moon twice", Cen Can has been away from Chang 'an for nearly two months.

Now camping in an endless desert, a bright moon shines on the desert of Pingsha. Looking back on my two-month journey, I thought that the full moon had not returned, and I saw Tang Jun camping and staying in the sand, and wrote this quatrain. This is a silhouette of camping life on the way to the desert.

The sentence "I'm going to the Western Heaven to learn from the Buddhist scriptures" points out my progress after I set foot on the journey. We seem to see the poet leaping and flogging, starting from Chang 'an and marching westward along the Silk Road leading to the Western Regions. The word "to reach the sky" not only shows the distance from home, but also shows the spirit of not being afraid of difficulties and obstacles. The sky is high and the road is far away, as if flying horses can't reach the ends of the earth. The spatial process of the poet's "westward journey" is magnificent and full of bodybuilding. If the first sentence mainly describes the space trip after resignation, then the next poem is about the time process after resignation. The sentence "I will see the moon twice when I leave home" shows that it has been nearly two months since I left home, and the moon is not round, which will inevitably affect my homesickness. As soon as the poet opened the emotional gate of missing his loved ones, he immediately closed it, and his pen turned sharply, returning to reality from reverie.

"I don't know where to stay tonight, and Pingsha Wan Li is deserted." The first sentence raised an urgent problem. The next poem doesn't answer directly, but turns to the scenery: it seems that the poet doesn't care where to stay tonight, which attracts the reader's attention to the noisy scenery: under the bright moon, the vast desert of Pingsha and Wan Li is so quiet and desolate. The vast desert, where should I stay tonight? It goes without saying that the poet and his companions can only camp on the spot and live a camping life. This shows the hardships of military life, thus leaving readers with room for full imagination.

There are only four poems in Zhai Zhong Zuo, but each poem can give people a different artistic feeling. The first sentence burst into * * * and fearless spirit, magnificent and heroic. The second sentence has far-reaching influence and rich meaning. Three sentences go around in circles by asking questions. The first sentence begins with the charm of going around in circles. The end of the sentence seems to be a non-answer, ending with the scene, which makes people feel magnificent in the twilight. The whole poem gives people a sense of sadness. Du Fu praised Cen Can's poem, "Poetry is finally gloomy" ("To Grade 15 of Pengzhou Senior High School, Making Pengzhou's Twenty-seventh Long History and Thirty Rhymes"), and praised his poem for its rich ending, broad weather and unobservable. Judging from the sentence "There is no one in Pingsha Wan Li" (a book named "There is no one in Pingsha"), the realm is vast and boundless, which can be described as "the article is finally obscure".
