Bao Zhao probably spent his teenage years in the Jingkou (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu) area. During the Yuanjia period (424453), he was hired as the minister of state by Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty Liu Yilong. After Emperor Xiaowu came to the throne, he was a doctor of the university and a member of the Zhongshushe. Liu Yuxu joined the army in the former army and moved to the prison to join the army. Known as Bao Canjun. In the 16th year of Yuanjia (439), Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty, Bao Zhao was 26 years old. According to historical records, he once visited Liu Yiqing, the king of Linchuan, and recommended himself, but he was not taken seriously. He did not give up and was ready to write a poem expressing his ambition. Someone tried to dissuade him and said: "The prince's position is low, so he should not disobey the king lightly." Bao Zhao was furious: How can we count the number of talents and strangers who have sunk without being heard of in thousands of years? How can a man possess so much wisdom that he can't tell the difference between orchid and moxa, and he can follow the sparrow all day long? After that, he was finally appreciated and awarded the title of Minister of Linchuan Kingdom. In the 21st year of Yuanjia (444), Liu Yiqing died of illness, and he neglected his duties and lived idle at home for a while. Later, he served as a minister to Liu Jun, the king of Shixing in the period. After Liu Jun, Emperor Xiaowu of the Song Dynasty, launched an army to quell Liu Shao's rebellion, he was appointed as the Haiyu Order, moved to the Taixue Doctorate and Zhongshu Sheren, and became the Moling Order, and then transferred to the Yongjia Order. In the fifth year of the Ming Dynasty (461), Emperor Xiaowu became the aide of Linhai King Liu Zixu. The following year, Zixu was appointed as the governor of Jingzhou. He went with him to Jiangling, where he joined the army for the former army, the prison army and other posts, and took charge of the post of secretary. After the death of Emperor Xiaowu, in the second year of Taishi (466), Liu Yu, the eleventh son of Emperor Wen, killed the former deposed emperor Liu Ziye and established himself as Emperor Ming. Zixu responded to Jin'an King Liu Zixun's struggle against Liu Yu. Zixun was defeated, Zixu was sentenced to death, and Bao Zhao was also killed by the rebels. Bao Zhao had a younger sister, Bao Linghui, who was also good at literature.
