Born in 1950, Chongqing. 1977 graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Southwest Normal University, and 1985 graduated from the English Department of Sichuan International Studies University with a master's degree in English Language and Literature from Sichuan University. At present, he is a professor at the Foreign Language Research Center of Sichuan International Studies University, the dean of Sichuan Institute of Advanced Translation, and the tutor of master students, enjoying the special allowance of the State Council. 1989- 1990 gave lectures at dongmennuo university and American national anthem theological seminary. 1999 to 2000, visited the English Literature Department of Edinburgh University. He used to be a member of the English Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the English Professional Steering Committee of the National Self-taught Examination Committee. He is currently the executive director of the National British Literature Society, the director of the National American Literature Society, the member of the Foreign Language and Literature Professional Committee of the National Higher Education Self-taught Examination Steering Committee, the member of the Chongqing Academic Degrees Committee, and the president of the Chongqing Translation Society. I have been teaching English for a long time, and have in-depth research on British and American literature, translation and contemporary western translation theories. He has won the first prize of Chongqing teaching achievement twice, the second prize of Chongqing outstanding social science achievement once and the third prize three times. In February 2009, the monograph "A Study of Hu Shi's Poetry Translation" won the second prize of the Sixth Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Sciences in Chongqing.
