Chunmu Xi yuan

Ming Dynasty: Gao Qi

The green pond grass is full of sunny waves, and the spring scenery has passed the rain.

I know all the flowers are gone. There are many butterflies in the vegetable field today.

Translation:

In the beautiful scenery of green water, green mountains and green grass, the beauty of spring seems to be about to pass through the spring rain. In this late spring season, although the words of farmers are about to fall, there are many butterflies flying in the vegetable garden today.

Appreciate:

"Spring has rained" points out the climatic characteristics of spring and the scene that spring will be exhausted, and sets off the value of sunshine from rainy spring.

"Knowing that someone else's flowers have been spent" and "spent" further indicate that it is late spring, and the word "knowing" means that "spent" is the author's speculation and a fictional writing.

"There are many butterflies in the garden today" is a dark spot in the West Garden. The poet did not feel sad because of the passing of spring, but described "there are many butterflies" and wrote that although spring is over, it is still full of vitality and interest.
