The image of the end of Nanshan in poetry

Meng Haoran often felt very depressed after falling behind, and finally wrote this song "Back to Zhong Nanshan". I am frustrated in my official career and want to go back to Zhong Nanshan to live in seclusion. In ancient poetry, Zhongnanshan is constantly like the image of a quiet place. Wang Wei, who writes the most Zen poems, often mentions the Mount Zhongnan in his poems, and also wrote such a wonderful poem "I will walk until the water stops me, and then sit and watch the clouds" in my retreat of Mount Zhongnan, which makes people feel comfortable.

When I was alive, I often felt that I wanted to escape. Because the ideal life is too complicated, Zhong Nanshan is undoubtedly a good place to go. A woman had an epiphany in middle age, and she chose to retire to Zhong Nanshan. She hasn't seen her family for 45 years. She said she was chatting with Buddha. Although chatting with Buddha seems mysterious, this woman did get peace of mind and body from it.

Zhong Nanshan is the center of the prevalence of recluse culture, which has a lot to do with the climate in Zhong Nanshan. First of all, the natural environment in Zhong Nanshan is very beautiful, and the steep terrain makes few people destroy the environment here, so it has a high forest coverage. At the same time, the extreme weather here is very good, and the temperature is balanced all year round, which will not make people feel uncomfortable. It is such a central government that has absorbed countless people from ancient times to the present, including Wang Zhixia, who is known as "the first female hermit in the South".

Wang Zhixia was born in Xi City, Shaanxi Province. Her first half life is inextricably linked with Buddhism. According to the description of Wang Zhixia's family, every time Wang Zhixia kept crying, her family would take her to the temple. Miraculously, Wang Zhixia stopped crying as soon as he arrived at the temple. As soon as she learned to read, she began to go to the temple to read the Buddhist scriptures of those monks. Although she can hardly understand them, she is still interested. After being sensible, she understood her hope for Buddhism, but a daughter's obligation is serious, to be a wife and a mother, so she married and had children in a rut.

This kind of life is not what she wants, and she knows it very well, so in middle age, she decided to split up and go to the temple to practice. She cut off her long hair, became a nun, and meditated in Ji Xiang Temple all day. This is all her practice. The practice of Ji Xiang Temple is not very successful, because she will always be troubled by the secular world and often think of her family. Therefore, Wang Zhixia learned from a bitter experience and decided to live in seclusion in Zhong Nanshan, hoping that seclusion would make her forget the fetters of the past and concentrate on worshipping Buddha.

Life in Zhong Nanshan is not very good, but winning will be very fulfilling. She built a temple that was not very prosperous, named it "Three Temples" and named herself "Compassion". She learned to be self-sufficient here. She studies difficult Buddhist scriptures every day, meditates regularly, and goes down the mountain regularly to buy some necessities. Her life can be said to be poor, but Wang Zhixia doesn't think it is difficult. She only thinks that this is the test given to her by the Buddha, and she must withstand these tests. Wang Zhixia does get some benefits from it, because even though she is very old, her body is still very healthy, and there is no difficulty in going up and down the mountain. At first, the villagers wanted to help her go down the mountain to buy things, but I didn't expect Wang Zhixia to refuse them, and I could do it by myself in an orderly way.

Wang Zhixia lives alone, and sometimes foreign guests are welcome here. They are all very curious about Wang Zhixia, but Wang Zhixia feels that he has nothing to be curious about, and often refuses the proposal of these tourists to take photos together. She thought she enjoyed the process of meditation, because in the process of meditation, she often felt that she was talking to the Buddha and had a different sense of peace. Others think that Wang Zhixia's meditation is a very boring and monotonous process, and she didn't realize that she really enjoyed it until she heard Wang Zhixia say so.

It is often very difficult to conform to the call of the soul, especially when we face the fetters of the secular world. It is difficult to cut off these fetters quickly and cleanly. But it is precisely because of its difficulties that people who can do this are often worthy of our admiration. For example, the protagonists in The Moon and Sixpence, such as Wang Zhixia in the story, have one thing in common, that is, they gave up a stable and normal life for the fantasy in their hearts, which is unreasonable to others, but as long as they know it, they get their own spiritual satisfaction. Maybe life is getting harder and harder, but this kind of hardship will not really knock them down, as long as the emptiness in their hearts will make them really at a loss.
