The "Land" guide (12 10) includes the "Pierre Hella Lai" area where Isaac lives (25 1 1). There are no irrigated rivers here, and the harvest depends entirely on "autumn rain and spring rain" (Shen Xi 14). As Moses said, "From the beginning of the year to the end of the year, the eyes of the Lord your God always look after the land" (Deuteronomy 1 1: 12). When God's people obey God, "He will rain autumn rain and spring rain on your land in time so that you can collect grain, new wine and oil"; When God's people deviate from God, God "blocks the sky from raining and the land from producing" (Deuteronomy 1 1: 17). Therefore, the "famine" in the land of Canaan is not an accident, but a tool used by God to train people.
Abimelech means "My father is king" and is the title of "King of the Philistines" (Psalm 34; 2 1 10). This "Abimelech" is not Abimelech in Abraham's time (22).
Gen 26: 2 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, Do not go down to Egypt, but live in the land which I have told you. Gen. 26: 3 Live in this land, and I will be with you and bless you, for I will give all these lands to you and your descendants. I will strengthen my oath to your father Abraham. 」
