History
Yanmen Pass has become a witness to the rise and fall of the Tang Dynasty. The veteran general Guo Ziyi went out of Yanmen Pass and put down the "Anshi Rebellion". The famous general Xue Rengui has been stationed at Yanmen Pass for a long time to prevent the Turkic cavalry from going south. In the Tang Dynasty alone, more than 40 wars occurred in the Yanmenguan area.
