Isaac (Hebrew:? 0? 1? 0? 4? 0? 4? 0? 0? 0? 9? 0? 8? 0? 5; Arabic: 1? 7? 1? 1? 1? 5? 1? 2? 1? 6; English: Isaac), also translated as Isaac or Isaac, is a character in the Old Testament Genesis, the only son born to Abraham and his wife Sarah, and the father of Esau and Jacob.
Isaac means to laugh in the original text. Among the ancestors of the Jews, Isaac is the oldest, the only one who has not changed his name, and the only one who has never left Canaan (although he tried to leave once, God told him not to leave). Compared with other ancestors in the Bible, Isaac's experience is relatively dull, with little change in his life.
Isaac is not mentioned many times in the New Testament. The early Christian church believed that Abraham voluntarily obeyed God's command, and sacrifice was an example of faith and obedience.
At that time, Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 years old. The promise of a son to Abraham made Sarah "laugh because my Lord and I are old" (Genesis 18: 1- 15). When the child was born, he said that God made her smile (2 1:6). Some time after Isaac was born, God commanded Abraham. When he was about to sacrifice his son, an angel appeared and stopped him. The story of offering sacrifices to Isaac is one of the most controversial topics in the Bible, whether for believers or non-believers.
According to Joseph Isaac's age, he was 25, and Talim said he was 37. No matter what kind of adult Isaac is, he can absolutely subdue old Abraham. (At that time, it was 125 or 137 years old. ) At the age of 40, his father Abraham sent his servant back to his country and married his wife Rebekah. At the age of 60, Rebekah gave birth to her twin brother Esau and Jacob, the ancestor of Israel. Abraham returned all his possessions to Isaac and sent the children born to his concubine out of Canaan before Isaac died.
According to some hermeneutics scholars, Isaac can be regarded as the prophecy of Christ in some ways:

By grace, not by effort.
