What is the difference between a ram and a goat in the Bible?

In the Bible, these two animals represent obedience and rebellion, good and evil respectively.

In the Bible, sheep and goats have different symbolic meanings. Sheep are often seen as symbols of obedience and kindness, representing Jehovah's people. Sheep are defenseless and docile, and may even be slaughtered by others. "Ram" is sometimes used to refer to certain people, especially tyrants in the country, who will not escape the fate of destruction.

In contrast, goats are often used in the Bible to symbolize those who oppose Jehovah. In Jesus Christ’s parable of the goats and the sheep, the goats represent those who would not be kind to Jesus’ brothers. In some passages of the Bible, goats also represent irresponsible leaders in the nation of Israel who exploit the weak and oppress the common people.
