"Yuefu" is an official unit specialized in making music in the Han Dynasty, which is responsible for collecting folk songs or literati poems for music. Yuefu Poetry Collection is an anthology of these ballads and poems.
Yuefu poetry collection contains various genres, including folk songs, quatrains, metrical poems and so on, among which folk songs are the most. After sorting out these songs, most of them appear in the form of poems, from miscellaneous words to five or seven sentences, from lyric poems to narrative poems.
