Poetic characteristics of lakeside poetry club

The works of the members of the Lakeside Poetry Society are mainly lyric short poems, which show the naive young people's yearning for beautiful nature and happy love at the beginning of the New Literature Movement, and have a unique simplicity, freshness and simplicity.

Zhu Ziqing once said in "Introduction to Poems of China New Literature Department": "It is the four teenagers by the lake who really devote themselves to making love poems. At that time, they almost lived in poetry. Pan Mohua's flowers are the worst, which is hard to hide. Feng Xuefeng's is much more lively, with tears in his smile. Wang Jingzhi's naivety; Being a teacher's surname is too tasteless. " This comment reveals the creative characteristics of Huxiang poets concisely and incisively.

1922-04-04 Lakeside Poetry Society, founded by Xixi Lake, is the first new poetry group in China.

The founders of Lakeside Poetry Society are Feng Xuefeng, Ying Xiuren, Pan Mohua and Wang Jingzhi, all of whom are students of Zhejiang First Normal University. Later, Wei, Xie Danru, Lou Jiannan and others joined the poetry club. The poetry club has no fixed organization and articles of association, and it is a congenial combination. Most of its members are students from Zhejiang First Normal University. They left such a poem on the title page of the collection of poems by the lake: We laugh at the lake/We cry at the lake.

In addition to the four-person poem collection Lakeside (1922), Feng, Ying and Pan also have the poem collection About Spring (1923), Wang Jingzhi's personal poem collection The Wind of Hui (1922) and Lonely Country (/kloc-0). Then, due to the May 30th Movement, due to different opinions and ideas, the Lakeside Poetry Society ceased to exist due to the separation of personnel.
