Dongling is located at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, 25 km away from Beijing/KLOC-0. Built in the 18th year of Qing Shun (A.D. 166 1), it covers an area of 2,500km2. It is one of the largest and well-built imperial tombs in China. The mausoleum area was built on the mountain and adapted to local conditions, achieving the harmonious unity of "the mausoleum system is commensurate with the mountains and rivers". The whole mausoleum area is bounded by Changrui Mountain and divided into two areas: north and south. To the north of Changrui Mountain is "Houlong", which is the origin. It starts from the Great Wall behind the mausoleum, crosses the Wuling Mountain of Shaozu Mountain to the north, twists and turns, extends to Chengde, borders Miyun County at the west end, and reaches zunhua city in the east. The entire Houlongqi Peak is beautiful, beautiful, magnificent and endless, which can be described as magnificent and beautiful. The front circle is the location of the mausoleum, covering an area of 48 square kilometers. From Dahongmen in the south, Feng Shui wall is built in the east and west, with a total length of more than 20 kilometers. The geomantic wall is built on the mountain, with Malanyu going north in east longitude, reaching Malanguan directly and connecting with the Great Wall. West across the Xijiang River, through the ups and downs of the hills, straight to the south foot of Huanghua Mountain, to protect the safety of the mausoleum. Between the peaks and fogs, white bridges and clear water, red walls and yellow tiles, pines and cypresses, it is suspected to be Penglai fairyland.
