I can say that I have a soft spot for this article. I liked this article when I was in junior high school. After learning, I also wrote an imitation composition. In the composition class, the teacher read it as a model essay and remembered it vividly. Now, when I read this article in the newly compiled textbook, I feel quite gratified. After reading this beautiful article, I will talk about it from the following three aspects.
First, the beauty of content
The short story "Pear Blossom on the Post Road" tells the story that "I" and Lao Yu found and stayed in a small hut in Ailao Mountain, the border of Yunnan, met an old Yao Man and learned that the owner of the hut was a Hani girl named Pear Blossom. Just as they were repairing the house, a group of Hani girls appeared, mistaking them for pear blossoms ahead, and expressed their gratitude in succession. The Hani girl told the story: it turned out that the People's Liberation Army built a small hut to facilitate passers-by and learn the spirit of Lei Feng; The girl Lihua was moved, helped passers-by in the spirit of serving the people, and always took care of the hut. Second, the beauty of the theme
The main characters in the story: "I" and Lao Yu, the Yao old man, Sister Lihua, and the People's Liberation Army and Girl Lihua who didn't really appear in the text. Starting from these characters and centering on the process of building, caring and maintaining the hut, the text vividly shows the touching scene that Lei Feng's spirit takes root and blooms in the depths of the mountains in the southwest border, and enthusiastically eulogizes the noble character of people of all ethnic groups in helping others.
The theme of pear flower in Mailu runs through the ups and downs of the story, and five good things are connected in series around the hut: 1. From the perspective of close reading of the text, we will find that in order to enrich the story, highlight the theme of the article and attract readers' interest in reading, the author has devoted a lot of effort. I will interpret this text from the following angles.
(A) narrative perspective
From the narrative point of view, narrating the text in the first person puts "I" in the whole plot, hides the author's observation range, leads the reader into the plot with "I", and makes the reader fall into "Who is the owner of the cabin?" In this kind of thinking, the mystery is solved step by step through the gradual appearance of characters.
Narrating in the tone of "I" can show the inner world of the characters. "I walked in the fragrant pear forest in my sleep and saw a Hani girl in a flowered shirt singing among the pear trees ..." The fragrance of natural pear flowers made me see the beautiful and kind pear girl in my dream, and I went deep into it. The author shows its subtle changes truly and naturally through the first-person narrative.

The beauty of pear blossom and the beauty of characters complement each other, and the unity of this environment and characters is a common writing method in literary creation. But why is it "pear flower" and not other flowers? Like peach blossoms? What is the symbolic meaning of pear flower, which makes the setting of this novel necessary?
