The first realm is "last night, the west wind withered the green trees, climbing the stairs alone and looking at the horizon."
It is to have a sensible mind, to feel when you see the withered green trees in the west wind, and to have ideal ambitions and future pursuits in your heart. Although you feel lonely, you are far-sighted and have a broad vision of life.
The original author of these three sentences is Yan Shu of the Song Dynasty, and they are from his "Recent Flowers". The original words are: "The threshold chrysanthemum worries about smoke and blue tears, the curtain is light and cold, and the swallows fly away. The bright moon doesn't know how to leave sorrow and hate bitterness, and shines obliquely through Zhuhu Lake. Last night, the west wind withered the trees, and I went up to the tall building alone and looked at the horizon. You want to send a colored note and a ruler, where do you know? "
The second realm is "the belt is getting wider and wider, and you will never regret it, and you will be haggard for Iraq."
It means that you should not only have the enthusiasm and courage to pursue your ideals, but also have the persistence and perseverance to practice the truth you believe in. Even if people become thinner and their belts become wider, they will not regret it.
These two sentences are from Wu Fengqi written by Liu Yong, a poet in the Song Dynasty. The original words are: "The dangerous building is windy, and I look forward to spring sorrow, and the sky is dark. Who will rely on silence in the afterglow of grass smoke? I plan to get drunk on the map of madness and sing songs for wine, which is strong and tasteless. I don't regret that my belt has widened because I was emaciated by Iraq. "
The third realm is "looking for him in the crowd, suddenly looking back, the man is in the dim light."
It means that after a very long period of hard work, I have gone through many vicissitudes, and then I suddenly look back, but what I want to pursue is that the lights are dim on the road I have traveled.
These three sentences are typical jade cases written by Xin Qiji, a poet in the Song Dynasty. The original words are: "Thousands of trees bloom in the east wind night, and the stars are like rain. Carved BMW cars are full of incense, bagpipes move, jade pots turn and fish dragons dance all night. Moths, snow willows, golden plumes, laughter and fragrance disappear. The crowd searched for him for thousands of Baidu, and suddenly looking back, the man was in the dim light. "
I used to read "The Legend of the World" to the three realms of life, which was touched, but not profound. In recent years, these three realms have often come to my mind, especially feeling Wang Guowei's wisdom about life. Although it is about poetry, achievements and personality, it is actually about the transcendence of people from the view of ordinary people to the last kind of "looking for him in the crowd and looking back suddenly, that person".
Reminds me of a Zen poem, "I don't see spring all day, straw sandals break through the mountains and clouds, and I come back to meet plum blossoms." Spring is already in the branches. " I can't help thinking that the Bodhisattva left a trace of sentient beings on earth.
If a person wants to "look for him in the crowd", he must go through many life courses, and if he wants to "look back suddenly", he needs a kind of awareness. As for the person standing in the dim light, it is not others, it is an origin, and it is himself who "stands alone on a tall building and looks at the horizon"!
Although the poet expresses himself out of emotion and inspiration, he has a kind of consciousness, or is different from the Zen master. I believe that in that kind of awareness, there is a heart of enlightenment as clear as a mirror-this process is vividly visible in some works.
Jie Jiang, a poet in Song Dynasty, once wrote a poem "Young Beauty", which showed the course of this promotion.
Listening to the rain song upstairs, the red candle is faint. In the prime of life, the boat is listening to the rain, the river is wide and the clouds are low, and the broken geese are called the west wind. Now listening to the rain monk Lu, there are stars on his temples. Sorrow and joy are always ruthless until dawn.
The white-haired poet who listened to the rain under the monk's hut realized the ruthlessness of joys and sorrows in the world, just like the rain in front of the steps, and he had a state of mind.
Different from Zen, Zen takes wisdom as the lamp center, while poets take beauty as the lamp center. This is why we read Li He's sentence "If there is love in the sky, the sky will be old" and will be overwhelmed by it. Or read Gong Zizhen's "Falling red is not a heartless thing, but turning into spring mud protects flowers more".
A good state of consciousness, or lofty personality and things, is not heartless, but a purified and affectionate heart. This kind of purified sentient heart can be called "sentient", just like Zhuo Dashi said, just like a swan swimming in the water, its feathers are not wet.
Good literature and good poetry are based on "emotion". Creators should not only improve their own emotional experience, but also transform and dissolve the emotional experience that all adults can improve, so as to awaken the inner feelings of the public.
This is why great Zen masters always write poems at the moment of enlightenment. After enlightenment, many Zen masters often teach with poems. The most famous of enlightenment is the six ancestors Huineng, who is said to be illiterate, but reading his work "Six Ancestors Tanjing" is picturesque. Milarepa, the most famous tantric school, is said to have left tens of thousands of poems.
Isn't Hanshan and pickup the same? They are hermits in Shan Ye, but they can't help writing their feelings on rocks. Fortunately, someone copied them so as not to lose them. But I can't help thinking that there must be more poems hidden on rocks and walls, just like vegetation, which future generations have no chance to see.
Why do enlightened people love to write poems? What is the reason? I think the most fundamental thing is that Zen or Buddhism is a kind of beauty. It is the way of Buddhism and Taoism to enhance the experience of the beauty of life and let a person have beauty in wisdom, compassion and life.
What is the value of Buddhism and Taoism to life without beauty?
Only the beauty of mind can make people wash away the five poisons of greed, ignorance and suspicion; Only a beautiful heart can face, push and cross the pain in the depths of life.
Therefore, Tao is beautiful, while the state of mind towards Tao is a kind of poetic sentiment, and the post station of the turning point between poetic sentiment and Taoist sentiment is "consciousness".
Bodhisattva is called "sentient" because it has never lost its emotional embrace. Different from ordinary people, he never lost his sober mind in sentimentality.
Bodhisattvas are all beautiful in spirit and solemn in appearance, which enlightens us that beauty is extremely important, and the most profound beauty comes from the tempering of family ties.
Even if it is a Buddha, all the ten buddhas are "good and solemn". When it comes to the beauty of Buddha in the classics, there is a saying of "thirty-two phases and eighty kinds of goodness". Therefore, the Buddha's face and heart are all beautiful.
Knowing that Buddhism and Taoism pursue the perfection of life, I imitate Wang Guowei's theory. Anyone who takes the road of "feeling all beings" in ancient and modern times must go through three realms:
The first realm is "laughter is silent, but passion is ruthlessly annoyed." (Excerpted from Su Dongpo's Die in Hua Lian)
The second realm is "I see how charming the castle peak is, but it is expected that the castle peak will see me like this, with feelings and looks slightly similar." (Excerpted from Xin Qiji's He Xinlang)
The third realm is "a thousand hammers cut the mountain, and the fire burns idle." I'm not afraid of broken bones, but I want to remain innocent in the world. "(from Yu Qian's Ode to Lime)
Bodhisattvas who truly feel sentient are all sentient seeds. They were born bodhicitta because of their troubles in the heartless world. Then I understand that all sentient beings will be troubled by ruthlessness, their thinking will be liberated, my mind and vision will be wide open, and I will see the coexistence of beauty and suffering in the world, just like Qingshan and I are no different. In the end, I would rather jump into the melting pot of love again, not afraid of any obstacles, in order to leave a little innocence on earth.
So much for the establishment of personality realm. Is to roll in love, refine, and finally always keep a clear sense and observe the world. Only then did I know what "suddenly looking back" meant. Only a clear heart can realize what true beauty is.
Only by constant awareness can the beauty we experience be deeper, wider and more dynamic.
Only people with supreme consciousness can move towards the great beauty, perfection and perfection of life.
