Most of Xu Zhimo's poems are related to his feelings, and these three poems are closely related to Lin Huiyin. His feelings have undergone the following changes. First, he prayed that he could be with Lin Huiyin, but after many things, especially Lin Huiyin did not. He thinks you have your direction, I have my direction, he doesn't insist, let nature take its course, but what is certain is that he still cares about her in his heart. The new poem "In the Mountains" was written by Xu Zhimo to Lin Huiyin in the last year of his life. At that time, Lin Huiyin, as Liang Sicheng's wife, was recuperating from lung disease in Xiangshan. Xu Zhimo went to visit her and saw her former lover haggard. After returning to his apartment, in the silence of the middle of the night, he wrote this well-known lyric poem, expressing the poet's delicate feelings for his former lover and today's friend, which are beyond friendship and different from love. Personally, he felt that his feelings for Lin Huiyin rose to another realm, that is, beyond friendship and different from love.
As for the poetic style, "One Prayer" opens a conflicting and all-encompassing world. Unlike religious people, the author simply portrays this world as a sea of suffering or a den of all evils, but keenly grasps the feeling and imagination of the sound of rituals, and constructs a living world in which heaven, earth and people coexist through the organic cooperation of motion and static, virtual and real. The second half moves from the dynamic to the static, from the outside to the inside, and finally enters the inner peace and instant feeling, giving out inner cheers. Correspondingly, the poet adopts the expression technique of combining the parallelism of poems with the lyricism of prose, which is the characteristic of prose poetry: freedom, stretch, purity and richness, which is very suitable for expressing lofty and mysterious experiences and feelings.
In the course of Xu Zhimo's pursuit of poetic beauty, the little poem "Accidental" also has some unique "turning point" significance. According to Bian Zhilin, a student of Xu Zhimo and a famous poet, "This poem is the most perfect in form among the author's poems." Chen Mengjia, a New Moon poet, also thinks: "The poems such as Accidental and Dingdong-Qingxin opened the gap between his previous two periods, and he erased his previous anger and wrote the secret of the subtle soul with neat, soft and refreshing poems. Indeed, this poem can quite see Xu Zhimo's skill and craftsmanship in meter. The whole poem has two sections, and the upper and lower sections are symmetrical. The first sentence, the second sentence and the fifth sentence of each section are all composed of three steps. For example, "occasionally projected on your wave center" and "the light that shines on each other at this intersection", the third and fourth sentences of each section are composed of two steps, such as "You don't have to be surprised" and "You'd better remember/forget." Obviously, there is no lack of free and easy in the arrangement and handling of the steps. The longer steps alternate with the shorter ones, which makes it easy to read, euphemistic and catchy.
in the mountains. You see, the poet sketched out the night view of Xiangshan apartment faintly, and all the dry words that can't be confided fall on the word "I don't know": I think it should be the same moonlight and clear wind in the mountains tonight; And is there the same love in the same scene? Sick people, you should know that there are still people watching you silently under the same round of brightness! Unfortunately, I can't come and I can't come. Since my body is bound in one way or another, my heart and soul are free. "I want to go home by the wind", melting into a piece of soft wind, wandering over you, sprinkling a touch of brightness on your window, like a green pine leaf slowly sneaking into your dream. But how can I disturb your sleep? How can we stir the already calm emotional heart wave? So I have to pay attention to your sleep with a sigh. "Softness is like a sigh-it doesn't disturb your sleep!" At this point, the emotional waves have reached its peak, and the thoughts are so strong, but all this is wrapped in a gentle and considerate heart membrane. It is not as straightforward as love poems, nor as temperate as friends giving poems, and it expresses the waves of feelings that are separated but not separated. Infinite care, but don't want to let each other know. What a great love this is! What feelings! The poet, however, seems to show it inadvertently, leaving no trace. I feel that Xu Zhimo's poetic style is more mature and steady at this time.
