The theme of this time is "Walking into Fuqing Historic Sites". After grouping, I teamed up with two classmates, and three cobblers were going to their destination-Fuqing Mile Rock.
The car sped along the wide road, and in about fifteen minutes, we arrived at Maitreya Rock Scenic Area. My mother said earnestly, "I'll wait for you outside, and you should take good care of each other ..." Our hearts had already flown away, and while answering casually, we ran away happily, finally avoiding the control of our parents, and suddenly we seemed to be out of the cage. As soon as you enter the scenic spot, you are greeted by a huge Buddha statue, which is the famous Maitreya stone carving. The Buddha statue is 6.8 meters high and 8.9 meters wide. It is made of a whole piece of granite in situ. It's natural and wonderful, with bare chest and abdomen, drooping ears and smiling shoulders. After seeing the Buddha statue, we walked on, looked at the flowers and plants for a while, and chatted for a while, but the camera in our hand didn't rest at all and was busy shooting meaningful things.
Halfway up the mountain, the road suddenly became difficult to walk. Rugged and dangerous, we move our steps carefully, and sometimes we move some stones to pave the way. After a "difficult" trek, we finally saw the flat stone steps. I jumped up flexibly, holding the wall with one hand and holding my companions' hands with the other to help them up. At this time, I accidentally found a faint lettering on the wall, so I quickly took it and took it down. Later, we gradually found that there were some lettering on most walls, so our camera was like the dam head that opened the gate, and the picture library was full of troubles.
At a transit station, we are faced with a major choice: should we go left or right? One said "Left" and the other said "Right". They were tit for tat and did not give in to each other, so I quickly acted as a collaborator: "Try the Left First", and only ended a "war". But it turns out that this is a wrong choice. We went the wrong way and had to go back the same way. Who knows, in the following time, we met one nerve-racking choice after another. As you can imagine, we got lost several times, and we dare not lose Jingzhou again. After careful consideration and repeated judgment, we finally saw a temple at a fork in the road. It's really a mountain. There's no way out. We ran quickly to the temple. Fortunately, a monk heard about us. In fact, he introduced us to the history, culture and legend of Maitreya Rock: the stone statue of Maitreya was excavated in the Yuan Dynasty (134 1) and completed in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368). The Maitreya Stone Buddha was recognized by National Cultural Heritage Administration as the largest three-dimensional stone Buddha statue in China, and was listed as a national key cultural relic in 1996. There are various caves in Yanrui Mountain, and there are more than 100 cliff stone carvings of many famous people in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Qi Jiguang, a famous anti-Japanese soldier in Ming Dynasty, was stationed here, leaving many historical marks of the anti-Japanese war. Ye Zeng, the prime minister of Ming Dynasty, studied here and left many touching stories. It's really hard to find a place to go, and it doesn't take much effort to get it. Finally, we took photos to commemorate and waved goodbye. Under the guidance of the monks, we successfully arrived at the foot of the mountain and were preparing to go home. Everyone looked at the three characters "Maitreya Rock" reluctantly until the bus set off, and looked back from time to time.
I benefited a lot from this unforgettable internship. If we don't go deep into the mountains, we can't know so much about the history and culture of Maitreya Rock, and we can't appreciate the strength of unity and the importance of confidence in our travel. Maybe in the later life, we will also face many decisive choices like a fork in the road, and maybe we will go back again and again. What's important is that we don't lose confidence, believing that the dark clouds will always disperse; Perhaps in the later life, we are also like the rugged mountain road in front of us. We should hold hands with each other and walk through the ups and downs. It is important that we cherish the time we spend together and the value of friendship. Perhaps, just like the Maitreya stone we walked through, even in the depths of the mountains, there are still many unknown things. The important thing is that we can't just be satisfied with the status quo. You know, there are more stories ahead calling us.
