During the summer vacation, my family has the opportunity to travel to Yunnan, so naturally I can't miss the place I have been longing for for for a long time-Yulong Snow Mountain. We flew from Nanjing to Kunming, and then we walked almost a quarter of Yunnan, of which Yulong Snow Mountain is my most vivid memory.
On the way to the Snow Mountain, our bus has been driving on the winding and foggy mountain road. Halfway up the hill, I looked down and saw a layer of white clouds floating on the abyss, surging towards us. Soon our car was surrounded by thick clouds. I don't know who said, "how much we like to sit on the plane!" " Indeed, everyone was surprised and nervous. It's really time to test the driver's driving skills. Finally, I got rid of the fog and the car continued to drive to the snowy mountain.
Gradually, we found that there were fewer and fewer trees on both sides of the mountain road, and they were all short. The tour guide told us that this is because the soil here is very sandy, there are many stones, and there is little soil for planting flowers and trees, which makes the surviving plants very short. It is precisely because there are many and unstable sands in Yulong Snow Mountain that climbers often can't stay, which is why Yulong Snow Mountain is so charming. Snow-capped mountains over 5000 meters above sea level are covered with snow all year round, and many precious medicinal materials are growing, among which the most famous ones are Saussurea involucrata, Ginseng, Yunnan Notoginseng, Gastrodia elata and Ganoderma lucidum. "It's a great paradise for collecting medicine!" No wonder Naxi people living here regard Yulong Snow Mountain as a "holy mountain"!
The tour guide told us that if the weather is fine, as soon as we enter the boundary of Lijiang, we can see her silver beautiful image at first sight. Thinking of seeing the snow-capped mountains soon, I feel like playing a small drum, "Dong, Dong!" "Crisp and excited, I seem to see the Yulong Snow Mountain. Who knows, when the bus reached the foot of the snow-capped mountain, I looked up and saw that all the hills were covered by clouds, and all the mountains only showed the lower part of the mountain, and the upper part could only be imagined by the tour guide. The weather is bad today and the clouds are too thick, so we may not see her true face. Ahem! What a waste of thought!
We took a small cableway up the mountain and came to a place called "Yunshan Ping". If the weather is fine, this is the best place to watch the majestic snow-capped mountains in the sun. This song "Yun Shan Ping" really amazed me. I saw a meadow with cows and horses. There are patches of spruce forests around the grassland, but a tree in the middle of the grassland is not long. Isn't that weird? There is a path in the middle of the grass, which divides the grass into two parts. We came to the path together. My mother advised me to shout loudly, so I did. I just feel like the sound is flying. Looking inside, I saw a piece of green dotted with yellow grass and several horses grazing leisurely on the grass. The echo came from a distance, as if from the horizon. When we walked along the path in the middle of the grass, we marveled at the scenery of the plateau. After playing for a circle, we got tired of playing, so we got on the small cableway at the back and went down the mountain.
At this time, I was attracted by the sound of running water. I saw a sparkling river running towards us at the foot of the mountain. This river is called Baishui River. The water in the river comes from the melting snow on the snow-capped mountains. There are many limestone and white pebbles at the bottom of the river. On sunny days, the river is crystal clear, and the green hills on both sides are reflected in the river. This river is green. Now, because of the rain, the river washed away the limestone, became turbid, and the color became white and green. I ran to the river and put my hand in the water. A biting cold immediately surrounded my hand. "The water is really cold!" "I can't help shivering. However, here is a yak that is not afraid of cold. It took me around the river. Not only am I not afraid, but I feel very fresh.
Although I didn't see the snow this time, I was still very happy. It is precisely because it is difficult for people to see the true face of Yulong Snow Mountain that so many people want to see it and so many people worship it. Maybe I can approach it a second time and a third time. ...
Yulong Snow Mountain, I love you.
