Xu Dishan (1893 February 14 ~ 194 1 August 4th), formerly known as Zankun, whose real name is Dishan and whose pen name is Peanut. Xu's ancestral home is Jieyang, Guangdong Province, and he moved from Jiajing to Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. It has been ten generations since then. Xu Dishan is a famous writer, literary critic and translator in modern China, and also an enthusiastic social activist and educator.

Xu Dishan's growing experience is full of ups and downs. 1894- 1895 After the Sino-Japanese War of 1895, the Xu family was forced to move and finally settled in Longxi, Fujian. Xu Dishan's father served as the civil affairs director of Zhangzhou Revolutionary Government after the Revolution of 1911. Later, he went to Sumatra, Indonesia because he refused to accept the Japanese imperialism, and finally died there.
Xu Dishan finished his primary and secondary education in the drift from place to place, and then began to fend for himself.
