On the New Changes and Manifestations of Poetry in the Lingdi Period of the Eastern Han Dynasty

New changes: Before Emperor Huan, the literati poems in the Eastern Han Dynasty experienced a turning point from narration to lyricism, from imitating folk songs to writers' originality, but the tone of the poems did not change much, maintaining continuity. However, at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the last stage of literati poetry in the Eastern Han Dynasty ended in a fierce criticism of reality, which created a new trend of poetry.

Performance: 1. There are two poems in Li Li's current works, which express her feelings of not meeting talents. The poet's ambition is great, but his situation in real life is really bumpy. He described himself as a swift horse with beautiful jade, feeling that he could not meet Bian He or Bole. There is a huge emotional gap before and after the poem, which makes people feel deeply;

2. Zhao Yi's sick poem, which begins with "The river is not clear, and life cannot be delayed", shows his complete despair of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The feelings expressed in this poem are the strongest and most angry among the literati poems in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

3. Cai Yong's "Kingfisher Poetry" is a portrayal of the mentality of scholars in troubled times. Kingfisher escaped the hunter and found shelter for the time being, but she was still under the fence. She was afraid of being hunted in the past. This poem is an image reflection of Cai Yong's own experience, from which we can see the deep fear of the literati in the late Han Dynasty.
