Tomb-Sweeping Day Retreat Association

After a month's preparation (including two online exchanges and one offline exchange-Feng Yang's elder brother was in charge), the retreat was held as scheduled, and there was no previously envisaged risk factor, that is, the trip could not be rescheduled due to heavy rain.

The final result of three weeks of discussion.

After the party on April 2, everyone started a retreat by car and arrived at their destination-Fresh Fruit Paradise 40 minutes later.

Let's witness the scenery of fresh fruit paradise first.

The fresh orchard has complete facilities and beautiful scenery, which provides favorable conditions for carrying out various activities.

Then we will enter the formal activities of our retreat.

There are three prayer relays at the prayer meeting, which were originally expected to last for 30 minutes. I didn't expect the first game to take 50 minutes, so I can only compress the time for the next two games. After praying, I took the opportunity to give my brother Feng Yang a simple birthday.

Forty minutes of practice and twenty minutes of sharing are rarely opportunities. This kind of spiritual practice is that in the first chapter of 1 Corinthians 1 1, women are taught to cover their heads when praying and preaching. I wonder if it has anything to do with learning to open calligraphy. When I read this passage, I can understand the structure of the scripture more easily. I also observed why Paul taught them this way for three or six reasons. Man does not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God. A woman covers her head because she is the glory of God. 2. Authority: At first, women were born by men and women were made for men. Women cover their heads to serve authority. 3. Nature: Your conscience will also indicate what is right and wrong. In addition, women wearing hats have a background of the times, when Corinth Church was needed. The essence is not the problem of hooding, but the problem of obedience reflected behind hooding. (The above is my own heart touch)

The five covenants of the Old Testament-Adam's covenant, Noah's covenant, Abraham's covenant, Moses' covenant and David's covenant.

Adam's Covenant:

Theme of the Covenant: God, Adam and Eve

Contents of the Covenant: Gen 2: 16- 17.

The nature of the Covenant: it is a conditional deed Covenant (people are not allowed to eat the fruit of the tree of distinguishing good from evil)

The result of breaking the contract: man is separated from God, and sin enters the world.

Noah's Covenant:

The theme of the Covenant: God and Noah and their descendants

Contract content: Chuang 9:8- 17

The nature of the Covenant: it is an unconditional promise, and the rainbow is proof, symbolizing a bow.

The result of breaking the contract: God will no longer destroy the land with floods, and the responsibility for breaking the contract will be borne by God.

The Covenant of Abraham:

Theme of the Covenant: God and Abraham and their descendants

Contract content: Chuang 12: 1-3

Mode of concluding the contract: Chuang 15:4-6, 9- 17.

The essence of contract: unconditional promise contract

The result of breaking the contract: God's promise will come true.

God made a Covenant with Abraham to represent a new country on the historical stage. This country is Israel. I will be your God and you will be my people. God has given mankind the greatest gift: God himself. He promised to be their god. We often forget that God is willing to establish relations with people, which is a great honor for mankind. God made a Covenant with Abraham and promised to be the God of him and his descendants, which was a great favor. God is creating a new race for himself. God belongs to this nation, and this nation belongs to God.

Gal 3: 7-9 Therefore, you should know that people who are faith-based are the children of Abraham. In addition, the Bible foresees that God will justify the Gentiles through faith, and has already preached the gospel to Abraham, saying that all nations will be blessed through you. It can be seen that people who are faith-based are blessed with Abraham who has faith.

From the beginning, God called the descendants of Abraham, the nation of Israel, to be the blessing of all nations. But as we saw in the Old Testament, Israel did not accomplish this task. In fact, before the arrival of Abraham's true descendant Jesus Christ, all countries did not really get Abraham's blessing. Jesus said that he had come to fulfill God's promise to Abraham. John 8: 56 Your father Abraham looked up to my day with joy, and when he saw it, he was glad. Jesus showed us that all countries are called the people of God, so they are blessed.

Gen 15: 6 Abram believed in the Lord, and the Lord took it as his righteousness. Abraham had simple faith, which God thought was his righteousness. God declared that Abraham was United with God by faith. Rom 4: 23-25。

Through Abraham, God created a new nation for himself, thus starting his redemption plan. Finally, he will send Jesus Christ, the son of Abraham, the only son of God, to this world and restore the normality of the world.

4. The covenant of Moses:

The covenant of Moses reaffirmed the covenant of Abraham.

The theme of the Covenant: God and the nation of Israel

Content of the Covenant: The core is that I will be your God and you will be my people.

Mode of contract: law

The nature of contract: the contract of conditional behavior (obedience-blessing, disobedience-curse)

The result of breaking the contract: cursed and enslaved.

The law never said to the Israelites: If you keep the law completely, you will be saved in the end. In fact, the law itself assumes one thing: Israel can't obey the law-that's why the Old Testament includes sacrifice. The law does promise obedience-blessing and disobedience-curse. But that doesn't mean that your actions can save you. The law is to maintain the relationship between man and God. The problem solved by law-how the holy god unites with the guilty. The law gives the Israelites a clear code of conduct so that they can identify themselves as God's people. The law teaches them how to meet God and get along with others. If you turn the law into a way of redemption and try to be saved through your own good deeds, you are abusing the law.

5. David's Covenant

David's covenant strengthened Abraham's covenant.

The theme of the Covenant: God and David and their descendants

Content of the Covenant: Sam 7 (The Lord will make David's name great and establish his throne forever)

The Essence of Contract: Unconditional Commitment

The result of breaking the contract: Jesus will become king and rule the kingdom of God.

Before the Israelites entered the promised land, God predicted that after they settled in Canaan, they would reject God and establish their own king (Shen 17), so God provided Israel with a way to continue to carry out God's will as a kingdom. Solution: God establishes a relationship with the kings on the earth through a covenant, and governs the people through the kings on the earth. The king of the earth must obey the rule of God and the kingship of God. So he can reflect the real king of Israel. In addition, God constantly sends prophets to Israel to restrain and supervise the power of the kings of Israel, showing that God is the real king and ensuring that these kings will not deviate from the truth.

At the end of the Old Testament, God left us two very important promises: 1) God will send the Messiah, a king of David's family. 2) God will make a new covenant with his people. Let them become new creatures, so that they can obey his kingship.

Barbecue: From selecting materials, washing vegetables, cutting meat, skewering meat and barbecuing, let's work together. Miao Yaxing cuts 1 1 kg of meat alone, which sounds very tired. Fortunately, it is said that he has a dream of being a chef. For the time being, consider this an internship for your dreams.

The barbecue continues, and we start the second game: I guess you play.

The game records all the processes through software, and the scenes at that time can be recalled in the video.

This spiritual scripture is about 5: 19-30. Jesus told the Jews that he was one with the Father and had the right to judge. This passage shows the son's complete obedience to his father-everything his son did was instructed by his father; A father's complete love for his son-pointing out everything he has done and giving him the right to judge; Father and son are one and equally respectable-people respect their sons just like their fathers, and those who don't respect their sons don't respect their fathers; God is the Lord of life, and he who listens to me and believes in him who sent me has eternal life; God is just, and so is my judgment. I was moved by my practice.

The story of the New Testament begins with Zacharias, a devout old priest. He gave birth to a son. He will turn many Israelites to the Lord their God. He will walk before the Lord with Elijah's mind and power, turn his father's heart to his children, turn his rebellious heart to the wisdom of the righteous, and prepare the people for the Lord. This prophet with Elijah's mental ability is John the Baptist. He just took people to see Jesus. All the New Testaments also lead people to Jesus. The New Testament vividly shows the life, teaching, service, death and resurrection of Jesus before us, which makes us have to give in.

Uniqueness of the New Testament: 1 The holy spirit enters our hearts and gives us a new spirit; 2. The Holy Spirit turns our heart of stone into a heart of flesh and blood and becomes a new person; 3. Obedience is not a condition of making a Covenant, but a promise of God; The real king Jesus Christ will rule.

Jesus came into the world in the flesh to tell the story of the kingdom of God in the world, but he was rejected and finally died on the cross, becoming the scapegoat and fulfilling the law (fulfilling the Covenant of Moses); His resurrection three days later proved that he was the real Messiah and the new king of David's blood (fulfilling David's Covenant). Jesus completed God's redemption plan and gave us a great mission (Matthew. 28: 18-20, make all nations my disciples, baptize them and teach them to obey God's commands). In this great mission, God gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us and enable us to accomplish it.

How to end the play:

Adam and Eve rejected the authority of God, so the perfect world created by God was cursed. The Bible records how God's plan of redemption unfolded-the covenant of Abraham, the covenant of Moses and the covenant of David. The resurrection of Jesus is the climax of the redemption plan. Then Jesus gave the Holy Spirit strength to the believers. The church can continue to carry out God's mission of saving the world.

God's grand redemption plan will surely reverse everything, and everything corrupted by sin will be restored. The Bible begins: At first, God created heaven and the earth. Gen 1: 1。 And finally announced: look! I updated everything. Version 2 1: 5.

1, Jesus will come again and everything will change: (Hebrews 9: 26-28)

The return of the king will bring ultimate salvation to the people, restore justice in the whole land, destroy all enemies, make us see that Jesus is the victorious king, and declare that the world belongs to him, and he will judge the world. (Phil 2: 9- 1 1, 20th edition:11-15,22:12).

3, a new heaven and a new earth: (Rev. 5: 9, 2 Peter 3: 8- 14. )

Revelation 22: 20-2 1 Yes, I will come soon.

The old and new covenants are strung together. In the following days, we should study the Bible and try our best to understand and know God's Word.
