The ancient poem Jiang Xue is the work of Liu Zongyuan, a poet in the Tang Dynasty.
The literal meaning of the poem (translation): On all the mountains, the birds have disappeared, and no one is seen on all the roads. On a lonely boat on the river, an old man wearing a hat was fishing alone in the snow.
