There are two forms of Arabic poetry in the savage period: "Megtua" (short poem) and "Gsuida" (long poem) of less than seven lines. Each line of poetry consists of two sentences, the upper and lower lines, and the words at the end of the line must rhyme. The most famous poem is "Suspended Poetry". That is, poets held a poetry contest in the Okaz market near Mecca, and the winners wrote their poems in gold water and hung them on the wall of the Kaaba Temple, hence the name "Hanging Poetry". The seven "suspended poems" are considered to be the best, and Umlul Qais (500-540) is the outstanding one. His representative works include: Let us stop and cry,
The endless yellow sand before our eyes;
In Daihuli and Haomaili (Daihuli and Haomaili are the place names),< /p>
Remember your loved ones and their remains.
These tears like springs,
although they ease my heart;
The sparse traces of the desert,
How can we reminisce about our lovers?
This poem was regarded by the ancient Arabs as a standard for creation and aesthetics. When they describe beauty, they often say: It is as beautiful as "let us stop crying". Umrull Qais' poem describing natural scenery: Night,
hangs its dark sky.
Like the turbulent waves of the sea,
carrying endless worries.
It stretched out its huge body,
pressed on the earth like a giant,
testing my patience and courage.
Ah, the long night,
When can I stay up until dawn——
The scene at dawn,
will not be better than the dark night More comfortable.
Poems describing women: A graceful lady, living deep in the boudoir.
The jade face is so beautiful that it is unattainable.
Light body and fair skin.
The plain chest is like a mirror, comfortable and leisurely.
Arabs in the savage era loved plump and fair-skinned women. Because women in the desert have their skin tanned by the dry and hot climate, and hard work and monotonous food have made them skinny.
When the poet Talafah ibn Abd (543-569) broke up with his lover Qawra, he wrote the following farewell poem: After all the hardships, he pursued Hamad’s home of Qawra

Have a rest with your friends and say comforting words: “Don’t die of sorrow, be patient!”
My lovely lover, you are like a small jasper
Even if you marry a noble family
you are like a big boat in the stream of Datu.
