Mrs. Vasquez's anti-Japanese history predates that of Qi Jiguang. Why can she discourage Japanese pirates?

When it comes to anti-Japanese heroes in the Ming Dynasty, people will think of Qi Jiguang and others. In fact, there is an anti-Japanese woman who became famous earlier than Qi Jiguang, and that is Mrs. Vasquez.

Ji's real name is Cenhua, whose real name is Zhili (now Jingxi, Guangxi).

Cenhua's father, Cenzhang, is a local official in Gongshun Prefecture. Although she is only a first-class petty officer, she is also a hereditary petty officer, so Cenhua is also the daughter of an official.

Influenced by the martial arts atmosphere in Guangxi, Cenhua loved martial arts since childhood and was proficient in the art of war with swords and guns. Especially with one hand and two swords, it is superb and makes people close to each other.

/kloc-at the age of 0/5, Cenhua followed her parents' orders and married Cenmeng, the magistrate of Tianzhou.

Because it was taboo to intermarry with the same family at that time, Cenhua took her maiden name after marrying Cenmeng, so everyone addressed her as Mrs. Walsh.

Cenmeng is a man of bad conduct, who often uses power for personal gain, causing great resentment among the villagers.

During the reign of Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty, an imperial decree was issued, which not only reduced him to a thousand households, but also transferred him to Pinghaiwei (now Putian, Fujian) to become a policeman.

Who knows that when Ming Wuzong was in power, Cenmeng returned to Tianzhou by bribing Liu Jin and was promoted to be the magistrate of Tianzhou.

When CenHua married CenMeng, it was this period.

Soon, there was a drought in Tianzhou and the hungry people rioted.

Cenmeng did not report to the court, but led a group of rangers to brutally suppress the hungry. Later, on the imperial throne, he boasted about his achievements in order to win the prize.

However, court officials are not easy to fool. After investigation, they quickly found out the truth.

In this way, CenMeng not only didn't get what he wanted, but also was punished.

Since then, CenMeng has been obeying the imperial court and recruiting military forces privately.

In the second year of Jiajing, Cenmeng rebelled and attacked neighboring countries.

Because of the disparity in strength, Cenmeng's rebellion was quickly suppressed by the imperial court, and his son Cenbang was also killed by the Ming army.

Cenmeng was defeated and fled to Cenzhang's home in obedience.

Cenzhang had long heard of Cenmeng's injustice and hated him for being unfaithful to the imperial court, so he put righteousness above family loyalty and poisoned him with pigeon wine.

Cenzhang's behavior was indeed forgiven by the imperial court. The court not only saved Mrs. Vasquez and her grandson Cenzhi, but also made Cenzhi inherit the official position of Tianzhou Magistrate according to hereditary regulations.

However, CenZhi was too young to be in charge of state affairs, so Mrs. Vasquez took over the affairs of Tianzhou.

Mrs Walsh is not only proficient in martial arts, but also a well-informed woman.

When she was in charge of Tianzhou affairs, she set up schools and promoted production, which made Tianzhou once prosperous.

In addition, Mrs Walsh also trained a well-trained wolf soldier by teaching martial arts and arranging soldiers.

In the 29th year of Jiajing, Li Riot occurred in Hainan.

Cenzhi, who has grown up, was recruited by the court to quell the riot, but unfortunately he was seriously injured in the battle and died.

The imperial court felt that Cen Zhi had made a great contribution to his death, so that his sons Cen Dashou and Cen Dalu successively captured their posts. However, both Cendashou and Cendalu are still young, so Mrs. Vasquez has to continue to take the responsibility of raising her great-grandson and acting as the agent of Tianzhou.

In the thirty-third year of Jiajing, civil strife broke out in Japan, and some Japanese ronin coveted the wealth of the Ming Dynasty and flooded into the coastal areas of the Ming Dynasty to burn, kill and plunder.

However, on the one hand, there are thousands of enemies, and on the other hand, there are arrogant Ming generals. As a result, they fought several defeats, which greatly increased their arrogance.

Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty was furious and ordered Zhang Jing, the minister of the Ministry of War, to take charge of the military affairs of Guangdong and Guangxi in order to pacify the Japanese aggressors.

After Zhang Jing took office, he learned that there were more than 20,000 Japanese pirates entrenched in Zhejiang. Known for his experience, he thought that the wolf soldiers in Guangxi were brave and good at fighting, so he asked Cen Dalu to lead the wolf soldiers to war.

However, Cen Dalu is not yet an adult. 58-year-old Mrs. Walsh, considering that Cen Dalu had never served in military service, pleaded with the court and allowed her to lead the army to collect Japan herself.

Knowing that Wa's martial arts skills are high and she is good at unified operations, the court agreed to her request and awarded her the position of "female officer in the General Staff".

Mrs. Walsh gathered about 6000 wolf soldiers from neighboring States. She led the wolf soldiers to March day and night, wading through mountains and rivers, and arrived in Jiaxing, Zhejiang in February of the following year. She immediately joined forces with the Ming army and launched a fierce battle with the enemy.

Compared with the Ming army, the wolf soldiers are stronger and better at coordinated operations in the war. In addition, they are extremely brave, so they quickly turned the tide. Not only won the battle, but also cut the heads of more than 300 Japanese troops.

The enemy who refused to let go quickly assembled more than 4 thousand people to make a comeback. Mrs. Walsh took the lead and led the wolf soldiers to charge forward. Soon, she beat the enemy to tears and shouted for mom, and fled in all directions.

In this battle, more than 3000 people were killed and the losses were extremely heavy.

Mrs Walsh and the wolf soldier became famous for this.

Since then, Mrs. Vasquez commanded the wolf soldiers, participated in the battle of Wang Jiangjing, and wiped out more than 4,000 enemies, which caused another heavy blow to the enemy.

Three wins out of three wars made this once arrogant and extremely tough enemy never underestimate the Ming army again, especially when he heard Mrs. Walsh's name, and he was terrified and wanted to escape again.

The wolf soldiers led by Mrs Walsh are not only invincible on the battlefield, but also disciplined at ordinary times. They have never harassed the local people, let alone plundered them. Therefore, the people in the coastal areas are grateful, and they have compiled a nursery rhyme "Hua Wa Jia Can Kill the Japanese" and sang it everywhere.

After receiving the good news, Emperor Shizong of Ming Dynasty also praised the bravery of Madame Vashti. Not only was he rewarded, but he was also named "Mrs. Erpin".

Unfortunately, the enemy has not been pacified, and the fatuous Ming Shizong listened to the slanderers of treacherous court official Yan Song and others and killed the famous anti-Japanese Zhang Jing.

Mrs Walsh, who has always been chivalrous, was outraged by this. On the one hand, there is no effective commander-in-chief, on the other hand, the body is getting worse and worse with age. So Mrs Walsh went home with the permission of the court.

Later generations cherished Mrs. Vasquez's national spirit and righteousness. After her death, they built temples and cemeteries for her to mourn her.
