Zhang Chunhui, born in March, 1938, was originally named Zhang Changsheng. He used to be called Pure Silver, and he was a Taoist in Foshan. A native of Gongyi, Henan. He graduated from Xingyang Normal University in 1959 and graduated from Correspondence Department of Henan University in 1966. After that, he studied in the research (revision) class of Henan Calligraphy Correspondence College and the Correspondence Department of Wuxi Calligraphy Art College. He used to be the director and senior lecturer of the cadre training department of Henan Planning and Statistics School. He is currently a researcher and director of China Ancient Huai Su Calligraphy Art Research Association, honorary president of Tianxiang Painting Academy, creative member of the Cultural and Art Market Research Center of China Academy of Art, member of China Qi Baishi Art Research Association, member of Henan Calligraphers Association, member of Henan Hard Pen Calligraphy Society and member of China Calligraphy Art Research Association. His works have been published in Education Times, Life of the Party and other newspapers. He won the third prize in the first national calligraphy knowledge contest, the third prize in the two calligraphy exhibitions of Zhengzhou Education, Culture and Health, the national calligraphy contest of "Shaping My Cup" and the national hard-pen calligraphy contest of "Love China for the Asian Games", the first China Yunnan "Stone Forest of Steles" calligraphy contest, the Henan hard-pen calligraphy contest, and the seal cutting Friendship Exhibition of National Artists' Painting and Calligraphy. He was selected for the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of the descendants of the Yellow Emperor, the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 6th anniversary of Jinggangshan, the first mass calligraphy exhibition in Henan Province, the calligraphy exhibition of northern alumni Ying Ying, the national exhibition of traditional tablet inscriptions with hard pen, the China calligraphy art salon exhibition, and the national exhibition of fine works of hard pen calligraphers. He has been engaged in calligraphy research and teaching for a long time, and won many awards in the national calligraphy knowledge competition and calligraphy exhibitions (competitions) at home and abroad.
