"My heart is going home" is the third question in the new textbook of Jiangsu Education Publishing House? How bright the moonlight is at home! ? Second set? Wandering travelers? The second article is one of a series of essays by Han Shaogong, a contemporary writer, after his return from his visit to France. The total title is Notes on Visiting France. The article is not long, but it is very philosophical and explains the relationship between people and their hometown very thoroughly. In addition, it hides philosophy in images, or expresses it in lyrical images, or through the description of some specific scenes. Therefore, on the basis of appreciating language, understanding philosophy and the new connotation of hometown is the key to grasp this article.
Compared with the materials of the first two topics, how much brighter the month at home is! There are obvious changes. From where? Wandering travelers? At the beginning of this section, in addition to the text, this part of the learning materials has been added. Dialogue bar? . ? Dialogue bar? It is to let students write down their subtle feelings when reading the article and write down their own comments.
Comment is one of the methods of text learning. Critical learning can often explain the difficulties of the text and outline the context of the text; Dig the theme of the text and explore the subtlety; Outline the eyes, make the finishing point and highlight the essence. From the essence of reading, comments are dialogue, communication and re-creation. As a dialogue, comment is the communication between readers and the text, with the author, and with other readers who imagine the text. In the process of comment, the text is definitely the first dialogue object, and the dialogue with the text is the premise and foundation of other dialogues.
So I'm going to guide students to comment, pay attention to the text, encourage students to read by themselves, create a harmonious atmosphere for them to express their reading experience, and let them dare to express themselves.
[Teaching preparation]
1. Guide students to comment on the text before class.
Considering that this is the first time to try to use this method, students may not make a macro and comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the language, so when arranging before class, I just hope that everyone will start with a word, write down their own thoughts and experiences and write down their own problems.
In addition, in order to help them better understand the text, I have prepared some materials for them (see appendix).
2. Understand the learning situation and read the comments.
I was surprised to see the students' comments. Surprised by the students' re-creation of the text, some students accurately and truly expounded the writer's experience with their own life feelings; Surprised by students' keenness, they can not only grasp some key details, but also ask thoughtful questions.
The questions raised by students focus on these aspects: First, there are many comparisons in the text, and it seems that my hometown is far worse than other places. Why do you write like this? This seems to be different from the hometown of other writers? Hometown written by ordinary writers is beautiful; Second, how to understand? Will golden ears and driving rumors really grow in the land of blood? Third, how to understand? Hometown is what we pay-different from birthplace?
3. The concept of classroom learning
Throughout the class, I want to start with some puzzles in students' comments, so that students can exchange their comments, enrich their comments and deepen their thinking in the process of communication.
[Teaching process]
First, the introduction of new courses.
? In the minds of China people, what can never be solved? Local complex? In literature and artists, hometown is inexhaustible. In Li's pen, hometown is a beautiful poem, hometown is the sound of nature, and hometown is always the most beautiful. ? (Excerpted from student comments) That's really good! In the writer's works, the beauty of hometown is incomparable in a foreign land. Let's take a look at Shen Congwen's Xiangxi and Lao She's Peiping (see slide):
If you go upstream, the deep pool of three feet and five feet is crystal clear. The deep pool is reflected by the day, and the small white stone and patterned agate stone at the bottom of the river are clearly visible. Fish come and go in the water, all floating in the air. There are many mountains on both sides of the strait, and there are many fine bamboos in the mountains, which can make paper. They are dark green all year round and stand out. Close to the water tower, the moon comes first, and peach blossoms and apricot blossoms are in the majority. In spring, you just need to pay attention. Where there are peach blossoms, there must be people, and where there are people, you can sell wine. In summer, dazzling purple cloth and trousers are dried in the sun and can be used as flags of others. Autumn and winter are coming, and the houses on the cliff and the water bank are in front of us. Yellow walls and black tiles are always in a suitable position, which is extremely harmonious with the surrounding environment and makes people feel very happy. A traveler who is slightly interested in poetry and painting will not be bored by squatting in a boat in this river for 30 days. Just because there are miracles everywhere, the boldness and exquisiteness of nature are fascinating. -Shen Congwen's Border Town
Petunia on the wall and jasmine on the root of the wall save a lot of money and trouble, which is enough to attract butterflies! As for vegetables, cabbage, lentils, green beans, cucumbers, spinach and so on. Most of them are transported directly from outside the city and delivered to your door. After the rain, leek leaves often carry mud spots splashed when it rains. The red, green and green on the food stalls are almost poetic. Many fruits come from Xishan and Beishan. Shaguo in Xishan, seawall, black dates and persimmons in Beishan, there is still frost hanging in the city! Hum, oranges in America are wrapped in paper; It's worth killing when you meet a jade stand with frost in Peiping! -Lao She's Memories of Peiping
Shen Congwen's Xiangxi is pure and quiet, and Lao She's Beiping is pure and lovely. In most writers' works, hometown is always picturesque, and people live in harmony with nature, which is unparalleled in beauty. So is Han Shaogong's hometown also poetic?
Chorus origin? No? .
Second, about Han Shaogong's hometown
Teacher: Then please find the relevant words.
Health 1: in paragraph 6? In my hometown, there is no bustling metropolis, no quiet lake, no solemn and stirring castle, and no big forest green enough to melt all your thoughts. My hometown is even deserted and messy. ? In the eighth paragraph, there are markets overflowing with floating manure, crowded carriages and gloomy rainy seasons.
Teacher: You found the right one. Can you sum it up in a few words?
Health 1: barren and messy, floating manure overflowing, crowded and messy, rainy and rainy.
(writing on the blackboard while listening? Hometown is barren, dirty, dusty, crowded, messy and rainy)
Teacher: Your generalization ability is good. Han Shaogong's hometown is really not beautiful. Why did he write like this? Please think it over with your own comments.
Excerpts from class notes (after meditation):
Health 1: Is this the same as the author? Nasser for a month? Home? By contrast. That? Home? Luxurious, elegant and beautiful. (another blackboard writer? Luxury, luxury, elegance and beauty)
Teacher: hometown and? Home? There is a contrast. What is the purpose of comparison?
Student 2: Highlight the author's love for his hometown. ? Home? Although good, but in the author's eyes, there is a kind of affection? The unbearable cold? Is it a? French prison? It makes people feel empty and crazy, but the hometown is not beautiful, just for the author to miss and be excited. As the saying goes? A nest of gold and silver is not as good as your own kennel? . (Laughter) (branch blackboard? Love, kindness, excitement; Cold, empty, crazy)
Teacher: That's right. Do you have any other opinions?
S3: I think ordinary writers will beautify their hometown. There is a sentence in the sixth paragraph. But what if you hear a solo by Schubert in the sunset of your journey? Imagine, it is often the hometown path, the moonlight in the hometown, the grass slope in the moonlight is silvery, a lamb? But? Although the words between the lines tell that hometown is not beautiful, it can be beautiful in imagination. As described here, the hometown road, the grass slope in the moonlight and a lamb are also a quiet picture. So I think Shen Congwen and Lao She also beautified Peiping in western Hunan, which is actually not so beautiful. Han Shaogong is just seeking truth from facts. (Student laughs)
Teacher: Just grab the key words when commenting. Please think again, why do you want to beautify your hometown in your imagination?
Health 3: Of course, it is love, love for hometown. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? All right. (Student laughs)
Teacher: Does Han Shaogong, who is practical and realistic, love his hometown?
Health 3: (hesitated, sure) Yes.
Teacher: So what kind of love is this? How to express this love in the text?
Health 4: Not just pure love, but love with disappointment. The eighth paragraph is about disappointment.
Teacher: That's good. Let's read the eighth paragraph aloud together.
Students read aloud.
Teacher: Many students have such questions in their comments. I don't understand the last two sentences of paragraph 8. But that kind of disappointment is different from? Jin Maisui and driving rumors? . I also think this is a difficult point. Which student can provide some reference opinions?
Health 5: Disappointment with the place I have been is an emotion, which is temporary; But the disappointment of my hometown comes from my inner love. Because of my love, I am disappointed with the status quo. This heartfelt disappointment can really shed blood. Because of disappointment, I expect my hometown to become better. With this expectation, I will continue to work hard and continue to create. Golden wheat ear? Driving a rumor? It symbolizes the wealth created. (Everyone applauds warmly. )
Teacher: The comments are very profound. Such disappointed love is also revealed in the works of other writers (slide)
? Under the dim sky, there are several desolate villages in the distance, which are lifeless. I can't help feeling sad inside. Ah! This is not the hometown I have always remembered for 20 years. Will I be disappointed in the barren village in my hometown, in my bitter sister-in-law Yang Er, and in the land of numbness and ignorance? Lu Xun's hometown
Why do I often have tears in my eyes? Because I love this land deeply? Ai Qing
Lu Xun's disappointment in his hometown and Ai Qing's tears stem from their deep love for his hometown.
Third, where is your hometown?
Teacher: What is the most commented sentence? Does hometown mean our contribution? Different from the place of birth? There are many angles of comment. Now, please exchange your comments with each other in each group, and then recommend some comments from different angles.
(group discussion)
The recommendations are as follows (excerpt):
1, pay, pay in my hometown is our blood, tears and sweat? These are the components of our life. Because of this, hometown has become a part of our life and an inseparable part.
2, pay, let people know how to cherish. In our birthplace, we were given life, while in our hometown, we gave it with blood, tears and sweat. In the past, we engraved our hometown in the memory of life.
After reading this sentence, I can't help thinking of my grandmother. Since we moved, grandma has been clamoring for her father to send her back to her hometown, because there is a rice field where she has planted for nearly 50 years, and the rice in the field is not mature, and grandma has been thinking about it. I also understand that grandma misses that old and shabby old house more? Grandma's hometown. It was built by grandparents with a pile of dirt and a brick. There are days when my grandparents share joys and sorrows, there are footprints of my father's growth, and there are my childhood? Grandma can't let go of these things because she has her past years in her hometown.
Anyone who has deep feelings for his hometown must have a selfless heart and a dedicated soul. In their eyes, suffering and difficulties are only a small test for them in their hometown, and they are willing to pay, which is why they really feel happy. Yes, it is infinite happiness.
If your birthplace is only your birthplace, it is not necessarily your hometown and cannot be the destination of your soul. On the contrary, where you really pay, it may become your hometown, just as Zao wrote in Toussaint. There are dozens of frost in the guest house, and I miss Xianyang day and night. I crossed the sanggan water for no reason, but I hope that Bing is my hometown. ? In order to become famous, the poet lived in Bingzhou for decades, and this decade's life course has made Bingzhou the poet's second hometown. Throughout the ages, how many people have had a second or third hometown.
Teacher's summary: the students' comments are from different angles, and some of them interpret key words, such as? Pay? Some people have a sense of * * * in their life perception, some interpret key sentences in context, and some contact poems to make people think. These philosophical words tell us that hometown is the root of a person's life, not the birthplace. This kind of love is engraved in every wanderer's heart and flows in everyone's blood night. No matter how far I go, I still can't help turning back. Only when we work hard for it will it become a part of our life. When our hometown is backward, we should use our own efforts to get rid of it.
Fourthly, discuss the way the author writes philosophy in images.
Teacher: In everyone's comments, many of them pay attention to the language of words, which is both vivid and philosophical. Imagery and philosophy are the characteristics of this language. Next, please speak freely and read your favorite paragraphs or sentences. Why? Share your comments with everyone.
Excerpts from class records:
Health 1: I like paragraphs 1 to 4 very much, because loneliness and emptiness are vividly written. (Read aloud)
Teacher: Your reading is very emotional. You read the author's loneliness. Can you share your comments with everyone?
Health 1:? I'm in three? Nasser for a month? Home? The quotation marks at home indicate that this is not a real home, but a temporary apartment.
Teacher: You are very keen and can pay attention to the meaning of punctuation marks. Anything else?
Health 1: Did the author write about himself in the second paragraph? Imprisoned in a French prison with nowhere to escape? , this and the above? Few people? Except? Park visitors who can speak some French? Taking care of each other's language is a kind of culture, a kind of inheritance of hometown spirit. Being in a foreign land may be warmly received by others, but as long as you listen to the voice of a stranger, you will know that you are excluded.
Teacher: You are very sensitive to the details of the language, and your comments are in place. Do any other students comment on these paragraphs?
Health 2:? This city doesn't belong to you. All the voices here abandoned you? When people are strangers in a foreign land, there is always one kind. Liveliness is theirs, and I have nothing. There is always a sense of belonging. The special image of emptiness described in the second paragraph In addition, I was particularly moved by the detailed description in the third paragraph. Although exaggerated, it is very realistic. The sixth or sixtieth study of chandeliers? Here is a detailed description of six studies on chandeliers. Sixty studies are exaggerated, six studies are boring, and sixty studies can really make people crazy.
Health 2: But I have a question. Why is the second paragraph written in the second person instead of paragraph 1? Me?
Teacher: Which classmate can provide friendly help?
S3: If you use it? Me? That gives people a very personalized feeling, change? What about you? The expansion of the scope shows that this kind of vanity, boredom and loneliness is widespread. The sixth paragraph writes that homesickness in the sunset during the journey has a feeling of beautifying hometown. What about you? It also shows that this idea is very common.
Teacher: It's wonderful. We appreciate this. (Applause) Anything else?
Health 4: I like paragraph 5 very much. (Read aloud) I like this passage because I think it is particularly warm and conveys my thoughts about my family in an imaginative way. I especially like the last sentence, writing the past days beautifully with personification? Shining, so it always makes us full of memories of the past days and always misses those distant things.
Teacher: You read enthusiastically, and you can also notice rhetoric. Anything else?
Health 5: I like the last paragraph (reading aloud). I think? People who have no hometown have nothing behind them. Especially philosophical. Hometown is the destination of one's soul. Without his hometown, his heart will never find a place to rest. So people can wander outside, but their hearts can't wander.
Teacher: Indeed, the love for hometown is engraved in every wanderer's heart and flows in everyone's blood. No matter how far I go, I still can't help turning back. Every time? Looking back at home? As Han Shaogong said,? Is it everyone's need for self-identification and proof of travel? .
Verb (abbreviation of verb) conclusion
Teacher: We tried to read through comments for the first time. Our views may be fragmentary and not systematic enough, or we may pay too much attention to the parts and ignore the whole. But this is a very useful attempt. In the process of commenting, we practice dialogue reading and try to talk to the text and the author, but more importantly, we are talking to ourselves and reading ourselves in the text, so many wonderful and unique views have emerged. Please remember? A thousand readers have a thousand hamlets? .
Appendix:
I don't know much about music, nor do I have any special hobbies. But when I was writing Shoe fetish, I was listening to a solo tape of Schubert's male voice.
This song is sung in French, and I can't understand a word. I am in a small city on the west coast of France, and I am going to stay for a month. In other words, I will keep six rooms, four beds and three bathrooms in the seaside house arranged by the municipal government and stare at the gloomy waves of the Atlantic Ocean alone for 30 days. There are no China people in this city. With my limited English, it is not easy to find too many English interlocutors. A friend of mine in Paris came to see me. Afraid of my loneliness, he lent me a small tape recorder and some songs, including Schubert's.
Schubert always walks in the sunset and stays with me until late at night. The melancholy male voice, the male voice that beats my heart in waves, shines with the golden light of the sunset, which actually makes my eyes moist again and again. A deserted prairie, a winding grassland trip and the footprints left by a lonely traveler who doesn't know when. Moonlight appeared in front of my eyes, the dark wings of the windmill turned slowly, and the moonlight ran in the water. I know this may have nothing to do with French lyrics. But I stubbornly believe that the strange male voice must be singing my familiar memories and everything that everyone in the world is familiar with and unforgettable.
Music is perhaps the most abstract art, it always filters out any concrete and complicated realistic conditions, and purely brews the rhythm of blood, breath and emotion, and purely brews the beauty that no one will be unfamiliar with. Therefore, in front of music, commentary is just some real material that no longer needs emotional wine, and the lyrics are completely redundant and banned? In this sense, any vocal music should be regarded as a song without words, which is more suitable for foreigners who don't understand the language.
It was at this time that I thought of my relatives, including my parents who were being sung by melancholy boys? I have left them far away, and I will leave them further and further. I got life from them, childhood and laughter from their warm arms, but they will disappear in the sand I forgot. If it weren't for Schubert, I would even miss an acquaintance with them in the sunset.
If a son can't remember his parents, no one in this world will remember them again. So, I quickly wrote the first line and tried to keep their body temperature by my side.
Han Shaogong listens to Schubert's songs.
