Prose rooted in fertile soil and square

The first time I met Gu Chunhua (hereinafter referred to as Gu) was at a writing pen meeting held by the County Writers Association in 2008. His first impression is that he is a typical farmer, but he is different from ordinary farmers. He looks like a farmer in appearance, but his manners and gestures reveal an elegant, restrained, low-key and gentle person.

Gu Chunhua was born in Nanzhang County, Hubei Province, the hometown of water mirror. I especially like Chinese when I am studying, and I especially like reciting texts and taking composition classes. Every time a composition is read in class by the teacher as a model essay. For this reason, Wang Yuanai, the head teacher who teaches mathematics, always criticizes his partiality and wants him to develop in an all-round way. Gu also wants to correct his "mistakes", but he won't listen to the teacher's advice and can't change his "bad habits". The more the teacher criticizes, the more biased he becomes. The teacher saw him as "hopeless" and had to let him go.

(A) reading classics, obsessed with creation

1976 despite being a soldier in the army, he still likes reading. Gu has a comrade-in-arms who likes to write novels. Seeing that he was engaged in creation, Gu also had the desire to create, started a writer's dream and bent over his desk whenever he had time. But at that time, because there was no creative environment, we had to study hard (training during the day and standing guard at night). In order to apply for the job of Reading Valley cookhouse squad, there is no need to stand guard or do exercises.

There was a monitor in the army where Gu worked, and the object wanted to break up with him. He took a letter to sever the relationship and asked Gu to write back to his partner. Gu tried her best to write a 3000-word reply to make the girl change her mind. Until now, they still remember Gu. This deeply touched Gu and strengthened Gu's confidence in writing. As a soldier for three years, Gu spent almost all his allowance on various world famous works. When she left the army, Gu brought back two big boxes, which her mother thought Gu bought for her family. As a result, when I opened it, except for my clothes, it was almost all books. Mother is very disappointed. Although she didn't say anything, her dissatisfaction was clearly written on her face. My mother is Hope Valley. She can promote her career and honor her ancestors in the army, but Valley has let her parents down. Knowing that he has embarked on the road of literature, being a cadre is definitely not enough, so he never thought about being a cadre. Now that I think about it, I had many opportunities to be a cadre, but I lost them all because of literature, but Gu never regretted it. Mother saw Gu so dissatisfied and asked Gu, "Why did you buy so many books?" Gu simply replied, "Look." Mother was speechless. At that time, Gu had only one idea: reading and writing. I don't think about anything else, almost to the point of forgetting to eat and sleep.

(2) Be hard-working and persist in creation.

At that time, the family was very poor. My siblings are all studying, my parents work hard day and night to support them, and my mother wants to go out and earn money to reduce the burden on her family. But Gu only loves reading and writing, and her mother is disappointed. Finally, she lost her temper with Gu and said, "Your brain is only used for labor, not for reading at all." Although her mother's words hurt Gu's self-esteem, they didn't change Gu's interest in reading at all.

Later, Gu married and had children, entered adulthood, and spent most of his time reading and writing. Most of the money I earn is spent on books. Once, my wife asked Gu to buy clothes for her children. As a result, Gu saw a good book in the street. Finally, instead of buying clothes, she got back a book, which made her very angry. But my wife loves Gu very much and knows that Gu has a beautiful dream in her heart, but she is far away from Gu, which will inevitably disappoint her. Seeing Gu's embarrassment and poverty, his wife couldn't say anything, just silently endured and even shed tears, and took on most of the housework. But she never complained about Gu and encouraged Gu not to lose heart.

Because of the embarrassment of life, Gu had to work hard and earn money desperately to change the fate of poverty. Gu worked as a porter and went out to take photos. Later, he studied engineering design, budget, masons and went to a quarry to fry stones. When Gu earned some money, he went out to wander as usual to enrich his life experience. A comrade-in-arms saw that Gu was really hard, so he took Gu to the county planning office to change Gu's fate. However, Gu never let go of reading and writing, and made no achievements in his work. Finally, he returned to his hometown to farm in despair. During this period, Gu read a lot of Chinese and foreign classics. A large number of novels that won prizes at that time, such as Red Flag, Flying Tigers, Lin Yuan, Hongyan, Mao Dun, Lao She and Ai Wu, were repeatedly read by Gu. The novels of Gorky, Turgelev, Tolstoy, Rousseau, Flaubert, Shakespeare and Balzac make Gu fondle admiringly. Especially in Balzac's novels, his vivid description gives Gu great creative impulse, and also urges Gu to make up his mind to be a "living recorder and creator". This sentence also became Gu's later writing motto, which also made Gu's enthusiasm for literature burn like wildfire and grow like weeds.

(3) No pains, no gains.

With rich life experience, Gu feels that to do a good job in creation, we must first do a good job in family and have a foundation for survival. If a person doesn't even have enough to eat, how can he write with peace of mind? How can a person who can't work hard do his own creation well? So Gu worked hard and tried his best to make money, and his family conditions improved to a certain extent. At this time, the village saw Gu's achievements and elected Gu as the captain of the production team. Gu used the knowledge he learned to make the production team alive and accumulated a lot. Two years later, he was elected as the village head by the villagers. The career of the village chief exposed Gu to a lot of real life and accumulated a lot of creative materials. Inspired Gu's creative enthusiasm. Therefore, Gu created short stories such as Treasure of Town House and Captain Yang. At the same time, I am planning to write a novel "Romantic Phoenix Village" which reflects the rural youth's entrepreneurship. Now this novel has been published by writers publishing house.

With the deepening of rural reform, 20 12 was seconded to Xiangyang Writers Association after the village group merged and went to work in Bianhe community in Nanzhang County. Although his position and status have changed, Gu's creative enthusiasm has never changed. Now Gu has completely transformed into a writer. In recent years, according to his own community life experience, Gu has created a novel "Children of Jinghu Lake" which reflects rural life in the suburbs. The 280,000-word book is to be published by a publishing house in Tianjin. Because gu has no funds, he has to put it at home and wait for the opportunity to publish it. 20 1 1 year, based on the collected materials and experience of rural life, Gu created a novel with 300,000 words, which was published by China Culture Publishing House.

Literary creation is a hard mental work. Without hard work and perseverance, it is difficult to achieve positive results. In order to write, Gu bought a used computers with the only savings at home, and learned five strokes of typing in just three days. In order to write, Gu has two classes every day. In the first class, I get up at three o'clock in the morning to write at my desk, and then I go to work in the community at eight o'clock, no matter whether it is cold or hot. In order to write, Gu often thinks hard, and tea and rice don't go in. In order to write, Gu changed from chief to deputy, but Gu still disagreed. Gu knew that he had a dream in his heart. Gu's dream is more important than making money. Gu wants to use the pen in his hand to describe the beautiful and lovely hometown, praise the hardworking and intelligent villagers and praise the new socialist countryside. We expect Gu Chunhua, a peasant writer, to dedicate more and better works to readers.
