Subsequent events of the Costa Concorde cruise ship

On the second anniversary of the cruise ship Costa Concordia hitting the rocks, part of its hull is still submerged in seawater, Italy's Guio Island.

International P&I Group has spent as much as $654.38+0.4 billion to deal with losses under P&I insurance, such as cleaning, wreck salvage, casualties and so on. The total amount of compensation is close to $2 billion, which is the most expensive maritime case in history.

On the afternoon of May 6th 1 1, 2065438, two powerful tugboats towed the abandoned Costa Concorde hull from the seawall wharf to the Superbacino wharf in Moloex, Genoa, with a total distance of 10 miles (about 16 kilometers). There, the Costa Concorde will wait to be completely dismantled.
