Last spring, in this door, the girl's face contrasted with the peach.
I don't know where people's faces are, but peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze.
2. The author of this poem is Cui Hu (772-846), a poet in Tang Dynasty, who was born in Boling (now Dingzhou City, Hebei Province), and his life story is unknown. In 796 AD (twelfth year of Zhenyuan), he ascended the throne (Jinshi Ji). In 829 (the third year of Daiwa), Jing, in the same year, was an ancient scholar and an ambassador to Guangnan. His poetic style is concise and graceful, and his language is extremely fresh. There are six Poems of the Whole Tang Dynasty, all of which are excellent works. Among them, the title "Chengnan Village" is the most widely circulated, with high popularity and good reputation. This poem tells the same life experience that thousands of people in Qian Qian experienced with a seemingly simple life experience, which won the poet an immortal title.
3. Translation
Today last year, at the door of a family in Nanzhuang, Chang 'an, I was particularly blushing when I saw a beautiful face and a blooming peach blossom.
Today, a year later, I revisited my old place, and I don't know where my shy face went. Only the peach blossom still blooms with a smile in this warm spring breeze!
