As late autumn approaches, the temperature seems to be changing. On days when there is no rain, the sun is still scorching hot during the day, and often you will sweat profusely just by taking a few steps in the sun. Fortunately, the climate is cool and pleasant every morning and evening, making people feel refreshed physically and mentally.
In this season, due to the huge difference in temperature between morning and evening, many people have symptoms of being unable to adapt to the seasonal temperature difference. The most typical case is a cold. Naturally, I am also favored by the cold virus without exception. Not to mention the headache, I also had a persistent cough. The combination of Chinese and Western medicine only relieved the symptoms a little.
I know that the reason why you catch a cold is that you do not have a strong enough resistance to viruses, which leads to respiratory diseases. Its arrival not only makes people lazy and weak, but also has a slight impact on work.
Several colleagues with whom I often spend time together are not affected at all by seasonal climate fluctuations. As for me, they often tease me that I am as weak as Lin Daiyu every time. Others say that the cold virus will last for a week at most and then it will die on its own, allowing the person to recover. But if I catch a cold, this statement will never be verified on me. It didn't take fifteen days or even twenty days for it to abandon me. Instead, it got worse on me. In medical terms, it is due to poor immunity and resistance.
I know that the only thing I can do to change this situation is to strengthen my physical fitness. After thinking about it, all I can do is exercise. These words can only be written in a few strokes, but perseverance requires perseverance. I am usually busy with work and cannot spare any extra time for other exercises, so I can only use the early morning time to run and exercise. Only this method of exercise is most suitable for me who is so busy. Also because this time period belongs to me, I don’t have to be subject to any restrictions, except that I have to sacrifice some sleep time.
Speaking of morning jogging, I really haven’t done it for many years. I just don’t have the willpower to persevere. I'm very energetic at night and don't want to sleep. I always lie in the warm bed in the morning and don't want to get up. When I wake up and do some laundry, I grab my bag and run in time to go to work.
Running, a method of exercising, will be of great benefit to your body if you stick to it. I used to run because I often caught colds.
I persisted for a year many years ago, jogging for dozens of minutes every morning. The cold virus was really insulated from me, and the results were quite great.
Now, after many years apart, and because of a cold, I have come up with the idea of ??running to exercise again. Once you have this idea, you need to take action. Of course, I don’t want my frail body to become weak as the seasons change, so during this period of time, I wake up early every day to the sound of the alarm on my mobile phone. At first, I often stayed in bed after the bell rang, and didn’t want to get up. But from time to time, another voice would say to me in my heart: “What you say is not what you say, get up quickly.”
At this time, he reluctantly breaks away from Duke Zhou's arms, opens his hazy sleepy eyes, changes clothes, washes up, and then drinks half a cup of warm water. After all the preparations were made, the sky began to light up slowly, so I opened the door and jogged outside.
The first seven or eight minutes of jogging were in residential areas. The roads were all paved with cement, flat and dust-free. Although it was already bright, there were no pedestrians on the road. It seemed that a warm and comfortable bed was most attractive to people.
After running through this section of road in the residential area, we ran onto a field path that could accommodate three people walking side by side. The trail is also a cement road, with farmland on both sides. The rice in the farmland has been harvested by farmers, and there are also fields that have not been planted with rice, which are all grown with vegetables of this season. After being moistened by dew overnight, these vegetables look green in my eyes, and they grow very cutely.
The path under my feet winds and stretches forward. Running along the road makes it impossible to see the end. The first impression it gives is that the field of vision is wide. Looking further, we can see the undulating mountain peaks in the distance. Nearby, we can see the lush trees standing on the short hills. There are some nearby villa-like buildings, scattered among the green trees. The overall picture layout falls into the eyes, bringing people a kind of visual enjoyment.
While jogging all the way, the wind blowing in the face is occasionally mixed with the fragrance of grass, rice, earth and light osmanthus. The mixture of these various smells still makes people feel very happy. Nice and fresh smell. As I slowly ran forward, I saw many people getting up early. Some of them were watering the harvested rice fields and maybe spreading seeds; others were weeding and fertilizing the young vegetable seedlings to prevent the weeds from competing with them for the fertilizer that belonged to the seedlings.
I ran past the area with farmland on the left and right, and then ran onto the section of road with a stream on the left and farmland on the right. I saw many women squatting beside the built-up washing stone in the creek that fell into my eyes, busy washing their hands. The chatter, laughter, and the hammering sound of the mallet hitting the clothes all reached my ears.
Looking at the scene of them washing clothes in the stream, a line from a poem by Wang Wei popped up in my mind: "The noise of bamboo returns to the coon girl, and the lotus leaves move on the fishing boat." In fact, all I saw was that there were some similarities between Huan Nu and these women washing clothes, and there was no connection between them. It just popped up in my mind for no reason. After running continuously for more than 20 minutes, I didn't feel tired or out of breath. Perhaps it was the good morning air and beautiful scenery that prevented me from feeling the slightest bit tired. But during the run, a slight drop of sweat flowed freely under the clothes.
I sweat, this is the effect I want. There are many kinds of toxins in sweat, and only when they are excreted from the body can the body be healthier. While sweating, the whole body feels even more comfortable and refreshed by the breeze.
As I ran towards the front of the trail, I saw several elderly people on the field ridge not far from my field of vision. Some of them were walking slowly, some were twisting their waists and lifting their legs slightly, and some were sitting and dancing slowly to the singing in the wide space of the field ridge. What caught my attention the most were two old ladies with gray hair and a slightly stooped back. They walked backwards on the wide path every day, and their movements were slow and leisurely. I heard from others that one of them is over ninety-two years old, and the other is over eighty. Every day, no matter whether it is cold or hot, they come here to walk slowly after it gets dark. After walking slowly, they walk backwards, and they insist on walking for an hour every day. The ancients said: Life lies in movement. I think this is reflected to the extreme in these two old ladies.
When writing this diary, I have been running for twenty days in a row, and every morning I get up reluctantly and struggle with the sound of the alarm on my phone. Despite this, the voice in my heart that called me to wake up prevailed.
After running for so many days, my thighs have accepted the fact of jogging and are no longer sore and painful. The muscles have also adapted to the amount of exercise required to run so many miles every day. In the first few days, especially when walking downhill or going down steps, my thighs would be sore and painful. If I walked a little too fast, I would be afraid that I would lose my standing and fall. Fortunately, after so many days, I gradually adapted to it. I told myself that I must persist and persist. Only by exercising can I have a healthy body.
