When I was a child, homesickness was a small stamp. I was here and my mother was there. When I grow up, homesickness is a narrow ticket. I am here and the bride is there. Later, homesickness was a short grave. I was outside and my mother was inside. Now, homesickness is a shallow strait. I am here and the mainland is there. This well-known "Homesickness" is the work of Taiwan Province poet Yu Guangzhong. Yu Guangzhong was born in Yongchun, Fujian. When he wrote this poem, he was 44 years old and had been away from the mainland for more than 2 years.
